I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. A great mix of information and fun. The history was fascinating, the sights amazing and the cycling exciting. Our guide, Dickon, took absolute control and led everyone safely through unknown territory whilst recounting tales of battles and bloodshed from ancient times to present day which gave real insight into the Catalan history. Dickon seemed... More

Well we went through the " we've run out of bikes..." Thing too. But.....we had a great tour and enjoyed it a lot. It did take us half an hour (more) to get our bike and they ran out of guides so they called in Amy (Sp?) who was great our group was less than ten and the bikes were... More

We did the Fat Tyre ride with Dicken and a group of 11 people. Perfect afternoon riding through the old town and Barcelona. Great pace, easy riding and a pleasant way to see the city. Highly recommend. Yes the bikes are a bit tired but they were functional and safe, which is what matters. Dicken gave a interesting version of... More

What a great way to see the city! Dicken took us on a funny, informative and comprehensive tour of the old town, history and the new attractions in Barcelona. Best way to find your bearings in a new city, and gives you a taste of what else to explore. So much better than doing a walking tour!

I was disappointed in this tour. There were so many people when we showed up that it took 30 minutes to get our bike. They split the groups up to approx 20 people per guide, which is still too many. The bikes were also in poor condition; my seat wouldn't stay up and my wife's gears weren't working. We did... More

We had been strongly recommended to get our bearings in Barca with a fantastic little tour group called Fat Tire bike tours. And it lived up to expectations! Great pace, knowledgable and friendly tour guide (Nick), enough depth to give a snip it of all the main attractions but not too much to make it arduous. Now have a sense... More

This was a great experience. We rode with Nick who was smart and funny about making the history come alive. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city to get their bearings.

Loved the bike tour! Ava was wonderful, and her historic overview of the city's sights was an interesting perspective. Great ride all around.

This is the first time that I have done a bike tour and really enjoyed it very much. There were about 12 of us on the trip and the guide was really great in the way she managed the group and told us all about the places that we stopped by. We not only managed to see a lot more... More

Very fun bike tour. You learn a lot of the lore of the city, legends, and characters that helped make Barcelona what it is today. Good view of a lot of areas. We did this on one of the first days we were there, which was great because we were unfamiliar with the "touristy" stuff we should do. This helped... More
