Excellent tour. Dicken was our guide and I can't speak highly enough of him. Friendly and approachable guy. Had a lot to say about every attraction visited. Came across as having a genuine interest in what he was talking about, as opposed to learning off a script, which made the whole tour very enjoyable. Nice touch at the end with... More

Great tour and guide but slightly marred by the fact the 4 hr bike tour was in fact a 3 hour tour plus an hour in the tour guides "favourite" beach cafe. I'll decide whe I'll have lunch and it won't be a place that charges 4 euros for a 330mL can of fanta. That cafe owner must be very... More

Had an incredible day tour of Barcelona! Our guide, Dicken, was insightful and entertaining for our group. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Barcelona area and is wanting an exceptional tour. The bicycling made it possible to access areas that we otherwise would not be able to see.

Loved this tour - Great guide (and they all seemed pretty cool) - gave some history and good information while not being cheesy or boring (Dicken from UK) Barcelona is a relatively flat city so easy to bike - not tough biking at all Restaurant for lunch was great to be on the beach but just so-so food (no worries... We participated in the PM bike tour with Cam and really enjoyed the history lessons mixed with humor and a good ride around Barcelona. Great tour and highly recommend. TL from Philadelphia

We (4 of us) were the only ones on the electric bike tour of Montjuic and the Olympic venue. The tour didn't start very auspiciously, with one of our party falling off her bike when learning how to use the electric motor. A word of warning to others - the electric 'turbo' kicks in when you start to peddle, so... More

Loved this 4 hour bike tour where Ben expertly guided us through the city and entertained us with stories. I would absolutely recommend this excursion. The trip had about 18 of us, all different ages so in terms of exertion level, you don't have to be terribly fit although you will be biking for about 3.5 hours with many stops... More

We did the tour in a quite large group, the guide took us to a few different places and he seems quite knowledgeable, I didn't love the ride as it didn't feel very safe, no helmets, riding in busy overcrowded places and roads and then at the end of the tour we went to a quite expensive place on the... We've done quite a few tours now and we can safely say this one was an excellent tour. Ben, our guide, was very funny and gave great information without overwhelming us. It was a great way to see the city. I was unsure about riding before the tour started but it was very safe and he looked out for everyone.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
