History has this being Gaudi's first significant building. Irrespective noting it was commenced in the last 19th century just adds to the wonderment…i can only imagine the reaction when it was revealed.

This large home was evidently famed Catalan architect Gaudi's first major commission. While more conventional than his later and better known buildings, utes nonetheless showcases the exuberance which I think characterizes his work.

Everyday I could glance up the street at this lovely Casa, as I walked from my hotel to the train station. Colorful and detailed.

Again Gaudi, it is one of the early works of Gaudi... No need to search it out in the city. Just find another place to visit.

Great detour walking back from Park Guell to central Barcelona. Pleasant exterior to admire for architect-nerds and Gaudi enthusiasts. Friendly cat on property.

It's all of tiles and mosaic, very colourful. Take the metro to Fontana station (green line) to get there.

Off the beaten track and not open to the public as it's a private house but the ceramics on the exterior are truly impressive and different to the other Gaudi houses in the city.

I absolutely love Gaudi but this building is pretty ugly! If you are in the neighbourhood, great, but if not, make the effort to go elsewhere. I have given it a one star to compensate for the overstated, halo effect ratings. I'd give it a two and a half.

This building, which is easy to get to from Parc Guell, is really nice to look at and its just a shame that it isn't open. Worth seeing if you like other Gaudi buildings.
