We loved our experience taking this free walking tour in Barcelona. Our guide was very professional and knew his work very well. In addition, he spoke very good English. What was more, it was totally free of charge! We did, however, give the guide some money tip, which he totally deserved, although he didn't ask for it. So basically everything... More

We did the Gaudi Modernism walking tour with Miguel. It was a funny and very interesting visit! To do on your first day in Barcelona. Thanks Miguel!

We arrived in Barcelona and the first thing we did was meet our guide, Jordi, from FeelFreeTours. He was knowledgable, passionate about the city, fun and energetic. We had arranged a three hour walking tour for four of us and that was perfect. We wished we had booked more time. He took us to places we would have never found... More

We did two walking tours, one of the old town with Carlos and the modernist tour with Miguel. Both were lovely and very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot as we went. Really fun and so much better than wandering around on your own with a book!

Really good experience with this free tour. The name of the guide is james, he was really well prepared and English mother tongue. The tour is a great preview of the city, we saw the most important buildings and churches of the old city. Tour duration is 2 hours and about 3 km. We will do it again and we... More

My mum and I stopped over in Spain for a few days and wanted to see as much of Barcelona in the little time we had. We are from Australia so it's not like we can say "it's ok we'll come back next month" We went on a tour with Jordi and it was an amazing experience. He was very... More

I did the evening old town tour with Ewa and ended up having a private tour as no-one else turned up. The guide tried her best despite this and took me to the main (and some out of the way) sights in the old town while giving a bit of an overview of the history of Barcelona. English was not... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
