I did the Boqueria/Cooking Experience. Chef Candido was laid back, funny and a great teacher! The trip to the market was so colorful and interesting and our dishes and instruction were perfect. So happy I found Barcelona Cooking!

I can only recommend doing this. If you are in Barcelona and want to do something different this is a must! You have fun, learn something new, drink local wine and eat te best Spanish food you ever made! Chef Candide made our night and my birthday special! Thank you!

I was hesitant to do this class being out of the country and all but it was so much fun. The Chef was excellent. So organized and yet spontaneous and easy going all at the same time. It was great to meet other travelers and to learn how to make Tapas. Trip to the market was great and we ate... More

This class was really fun. There was only 3 of us, which I thought was perfect. The food we cooked was very tasty. I took away some great cooking tricks from Kindra. I am glad I took the class & would definitely take another one if I was in barcelona again!!

What a great opportunity to get a hands on experience learning some of the intricasies of Spanish cooking...........paella in our class. Candido's kitchen is clean and contemporary overlooking the Rambla. He was a delightful host and guide and the wine poured freely. Enjoyed the class so much last nite we are taking the Tapas tour this evening!

My sisters and I spent 9 glorious days in Barcelona to celebrate my birthday. One of the highlights of our trip was a day with Barcelona Cooking. We were anticipating a touristy experience but to our surprise it was a day filled with food, wine, cooking and laughter. Chef Candido (Chef Chica) took us to the Boqueria market for a... More

I went to Barcelona Cooking School with my mom & we had such a great time. I loved learning to make Paella & the Butternut squash soup is one of my favourite things to make. The market tour was also really great, we have been to lots of markets, but it was so different and great to have someone explain... More

A really fun and informative time with fellow foodies. The trip to the market is great! Learning about the area and the food and, of course, eating all the wonderful things you cooked! Highly recommended. Dayle, San Diego, CA

Candido was our teacher--a painting of him hangs on the wall. We had a delightful time with him and with each other, 10 of us in all. First we went across the street to the Boqueria to shop for fresh fish and vegetables, mostly for our entertainment because he was very well organized--everything was prepped and laid out. The cooking... More
