Whether you're here for just a day or two or for longer our English (or Spanish/Italian) speaking, long-time residents of Barcelona will introduce you to some of the old towns most important sights and hidden gems. We will make the medieval Gothic Quarter come to life and teach you all you need to know about the people, culture, cuisine and history of Catalonia's hedonistic capital to help you get the most out of your stay. -- Introduction to Antoni GAUDI Free Walking Tour During this ~5km (3mi) long tour we will introduce you to the magical and sometimes mad world of architectural and design genius Antoni Gaudi. Chronologically you will get to stand in front of 5 of his works, 4 of them being the UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Palau Guell, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila (aka La Pedrera) and his master piece Sagrada Familia. We will help you to experience the unique and distinctive style of his creations while getting interesting background information about both his works and his life. -- Alternative & STREET ART Free Walking Tour In this tour we will take you away from the big tourist sights to help you understand what Barcelona is really about. We will teach you how to read the hidden city all around us. Signs, tags, symbols, art and more telling you the stories of everything from anarchism, dictatorship, social and protest movements and Civil War to squats and hidden community gardens. The capturing stories are often told by beautiful, both legal and illegal, street art in almost every corner. We will help you answer the whys!? -- Barri Gotic PHOTOGRAPHY Free Walking Tour This tour combines walking through the Barri Gotic with a professional photography class. It offers you the unique experience of on-location tuition from a professional photographer. No matter if you're a beginner or a professional, we will help you develop your photo skills. It's not important if you have a high end camera, a point and shoot camera or a smartphone, the important thing is to understand how photography works. It's the photographer that makes the difference, not the equipment. -- Barcelona HIGHLIGHTS Free Bicycle Tour During this ~2h/~12km (7,5mi) tour you'll be introduce to a Barcelona best and easiest reached by bicycle. We will, among others, ride along the 5km long a beach, through beautiful parks and see some of the important historical buildings and monuments that shaped our fascinating city. This tour is only for those who knows how to ride a bike. We will at times be riding on trafficked streets. We reserve the right to cancel tours due to bad weather. Maximum 15 people/tour. After the tours we give you the unique opportunity to sit down inside Travel Bar with your guide to talk, discuss, ask questions and make new friends with your fellow travelers over a glass of locally produced beer or lovely Sangria, Spain's famous wine punch, and maybe even some tapas?

The walk was excellent, very informative and interesting. Our guide was not pushy for tips, he explained how it worked but at the end didn't make you feel you had to give something. I don't know how much he was expecting, we gave eu15 for 2 people. However, as a tour guide, I think he could have had more knowledge... More

FABULOUS - Life Changing - my photos are superb and just taken with cell phone. Great guy, great tour and info, super simple and clear messages about seeing differently - taking pictures not of things but with its own unique story and artistry. Lovely guy, creates a friendly atmosphere with all participants - best ever of all walking tours I... More

Just a quick note to say how much me and my boyfriend enjoyed these tours. We were in Barcelona Friday-Sunday and did 2 tours in the time: the original tour of the gothic quarter, and the Gaudi tour. Both the tours were taken by guide Alex who was extremely knowledgable and so easy to listen to. We saw all the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon I spent on the walking tour of the Bari Gothic in Barcelona. The guide, a student of history and languages, was enthusiastic and willing to share his knowledge of the city and the Catalan region with us. He spent over two hours guiding us us through the fabulous old city of Barcelona. The tour felt... More

Went on 2 of the tours offered here, "Intro to Barcelona" with Janna and "Gaudi/Architecture" with Chrissy - both were just excellent. Not only was the depth of knowledge great, both girls were super friendly and so easily approachable as well as sharing loads of really interesting tips on the city. Honestly, cannot reccomend these enough! Oh, and the travel... More

Fabulous tour earlier today with Krissy who was super knowledgable, friendly, and funny! She took us around the Old Town and Gothic Quarter - not only did she have a wealth of information regarding the tour itself to share, but she was willing and ready to answer any questions you may have regarding the tour or the city in general.... We did both the Architectural/Gaudi tour and the history/old town tour. Both our guides were absolutely amazing, friendly and made it an experience, not just a tour. Chryssi led us on the architectural tour, she was warm, friendly and taught us about the architects, and then had us guessing which architects designed which buildings (we even got some right!). Iosef... More

I went on 2 of the walking tours - one was with Yana and another one was the Gaudi tour with Luke. I really enjoyed both them and heard a lot of interesting stories about Barcelona. The tours were very informal, relaxed and the atmosphere was very friendly. I recommend these tour to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

We did the intro to Barcelona tour with Jana who was very enthusiastic & lively. She was a great story-teller & the history lesson through the gothic quarter was very interesting. Thanks for a great tour! Highly recommend.
