My friend and I went on the tour of the old city with Matylda. She was extremely happy, knowledgeable, & a great tour guide. Wonderful way to learn the history and get a feel for the city. I highly recommend going to a walking tour in the city of Barcelona if you ever get the chance.

Very helpful information and history about the city. The most important spots or hidden spots of the city. We (a young couple) did enjoy the walking tour with Jana very much.

I’m a big fan of free walking tours and always do when I travel is a great concept biased on fairness and respect and I take it serious This tour was great and if the few minutes that preceding the tour are the motive for only 3 stars. My first time traveling alone and first time in Barcelona, this free tour was perfect! Our friendly, knowledgeable and all-around awesome tour guide, Jana, showed and taught our group (made up of singles like myself, a multi-generational family from Singapore, couples and friends) so much (interesting, not boring) about the Gothic district of Barcelona and of Spain too! I'll do... More

My partner and I chose to do the alternative tour, hosted by Joseph. The tour was less a guide to the city's culture and history, and more a political soapbox. The content aside the guide ran ahead of the group almost losing us, crossed roads when it wasn't safe to do so and faced away when talking which made it... More

I took this walking tour after doing the main tourist attractions since I was staying near the Gothic Quarter. Our guide Chrissy was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions during and after the tour. You can tell that she is very passionate about the city even though she is not a native. The tour is free but there is... More

Could not recommend this tour highly enough. We did the tour on our first full day in Barcelona (we had a lovely South African guide called Luke who was extremely knowledgable & interesting) & it was brilliant for getting our bearings in the Gothic Quarter & getting a really good insight into the history of Barcelona & Catalunya. We loved... More

We had the tour in the Gothic part of Barcelona on our first day in the city and it was the perfect thing to start our visit with. Chrissy is a great guide who explained everything in an interesting and funny way. I truly recommend this tour to everyone who is first time in Barcelona and not only.

We took the alternative tour around Barcelona and it was amazing. Really good to get a different prospective and look into the political and cultural side of this beautiful city. The tour guide was amazing! Really interesting and well educated. Highly recommend this tour
