This cathedral is beautiful and has a fabulous story to go with it - I wouldnt normally visit any Catherdrals but this was absolutely lovely. It doesnt take long to walk around so I would recommend popping in on your way past.

I have visited many cathederals around Europe and this one is nothing too surprising, although the stained glass is nice. Still worth a visit as you don't have much to do if you are not a shopaholic at the gothic quarter

this is a church built by the Mariners, it was thought if they assisted it would provide protection on their sea voyages and give good catches for the fishermen. There is also a guided tour which take you up the towers and roof top This is a must do!!

After hundrets of churches I've seen in my life there was nothing special. For sure it is the good piece of gothic style architecture, but you won't be surprised by anything.

Beautiful example of Catalan gothic architecture. It doesn't get as many tourists as other churches and is free to get in. A must see and there are some lovely cafés out side to sit and enjoy it.

This church is a must-see for people interested in Gothic church architecture. It’s an exquisite example of the Catalan Gothic style with elevated side naves that gives an ambience of sublimity and lightness. Catch the guided tour if you can – it gives an excellent introduction to Medieval Barcelona and Catalonian history in architecture as well as socio-economic, cultural, and... More

In all of Spain, this was our favorite of the churches we visited. Beautiful, serene, spiritual - those are some of the words i would use to describe this sanctuary in the heart of the old city.

We payed 3 euros per person to use the lift to go to the roof, but it was worth it! Just keep in mind that it has to be not rainy or very windy.

Tourists who would not have stopped in to see St. Mary of the Sea (church, not cathedral) now include it after having read the best selling book about how how and how quickly it was built. There are now special book related tours around the church and the neighborhood. It is a favorite of locals no matter where in the... More

Beautiful cathedral, stained glass windows, murals, and more! When I was there, a person was playing the violin and another person was playing the organ, so I loved walking around the Cathedral with the music. The geese pond was neat too. There is a fountain where you can drink the water too. I didn't go up to the roof because... More
