More stunning than Barcelona's Cathedral. It's façade lights up the whole plaza in different ways depending on the time of day. It was built by the community of the time so it took them only 70 years to finish it. You can see that the builders were not experts just looking at the walls, all the more charming. Worth the... Set in a square surrounded by cafes etc it is most imposing. It is well worth a look inside as it truly is a beautiful church.

This is the smaller, lesser known cathedral of Barcelona, but it's equally worth a visit. The great thing about this cathedral is that entry is actually free and it's less busy.

Beautiful, impressive and tranquil. After a few moderniste experiences - some good some bad! it was very soothing to be in the old city where the buildings are reassuringly classical. Amazing stained glass windows.

Entry is free for on the Sundays and other times just a few Euros which are certainly worth as it is far more quiet during the week

The architecture was unbelievable. The talent of the artists was amazing. Just to look at the story they were able to tell.

Beautiful gothic church in the old town. Too often people bypass this treasure for the larger cathedral a few blocks away. Don't miss this though - its simple and beautiful.

Simpler than many of the other Barcelona churches, the soaring columns and arches, plus the multiple stained-glass windows make this a beautiful place to visit at any time. Note: after perhaps 5pm, entry fee is waved - don't wait - pay the fee and see it before the crowds descend.
