We went for the flamenco show based on our guidebook's recommendation. Los Tarantos was touted for having a long history and being a more "authentic" experience, but that was not the feel in the tiny space at all. While they advertise a 30-minute show, the musicians came out late, spent five minutes tuning instruments and dealing with static in the... More

Off the Ramblas is a square which has several restaurants and a few clubs that have live music. Los Tarantos is a small but comfortable venue and has two shows 8pm or 9:30 nightly. It is very wise to line up early to make sure that you can get a front row seat. As the club is not that large... More

Ventured in tonight for the 21:30 show. Highly recommend getting there more than 30 mins prior to get a good seat. Having a ticket in hand didn't give you line by pass. There's a different band and dancers every night. Saturday. For 8€ bought online one day in advance or 10 at the door you'll get a 30min live flamenco... More

Pretty monotonous show.some spanish traditional songs at the beggining. Then some flamenco dance by a couple which was the best part of the show and after that some more spanish songs again.it gave me the impression that this was a pure touristic rather than a pure flamenco show.

Only worth of 10 euros. Very simple and monotonous performance. If you have never seen 'flamenco' before in your life, it is ok. Almost 85% of dance was done by a male. What a joke!

A great balance of dancing, singing and music. Spanish guitar at it's best and singing that's full of passion. The dancers were the pinnacle of energy and rhythm. Overall a great 30 min show for 10 euros! The drinks were reasonably priced and the venue is in a great location full of restaurants.

Amazing dancers and singers and 30 minutes is enough to understand and get touched with this whole cultural experience of Flamenco! We arrived just 20 min before the show and got front row seats plus we had a discount coupon found on a leaflet so we only paid 7 euros ! It definatelly worth watching!

Los Tarantos is situated in an easy to find location off Las Ramblas in a lovely square - Placa Reial. If you purchase tickets online it's 8 Euros for a thirty minute show. The venue is small and although the ticket doesn't guarantee a seat, you will never be situated far away from the performers. There are three shows a night,... More

Barcelona is a Catalan city and flamenko is of spanish culture. Consequently the flamenko shows are not very common among the city. On the other hand we experienced the perfect flamenko in this small dance hall. You have to go there after 19:00. The tickets are quite cheap when compared with the other shows. The dancers are really experienced and... More

Like an oiled machine, groups gothered inside, get their 30 minutes of an easy-to-digest flamenco, and get out to make room for the next round. ok, but not good. Go to the Si Jazz on fridays instead.
