We came here on a Friday evening (dec 26th). My sister had found this place while looking for a cheaper and more local experience for flamenco performances. It's a little bit hidden in a alley near Sant Antoni station. The entrance is a light blue door filled with pictures (see one of my pics). Cheap entrance fee: 10 euros, with... More

The venue is tiny, and they squeeze a lot of people in. Food and drink were available but I wouldn't bother with the food here. Had read in previous reviews that you need to get there slightly early, and we found a queue when we arrived. Well worth queuing though as the flamenco dancing and music was incredible.

Fantastic passionate flamenco at this venue, a bargain at 10euro entry with a drink included! Beers were only 2.50 euros and the staff and atmosphere was very friendly.

We went to see the flaminco show ; it was pouring rain but it was worth getting wet and go especially to this show. It was amazing and we were hypnotized by the dancer ; the guitarist, and the singer.very intimate show , at least an hour and a half. It wasnt crowded as other reviews said, maybe because of... If it weren't for the incredible and talented flamenco musicians, singer and dancer, this would have been a disaster. But to set the stage, I was with my parents who are in their 60s/70s. The main floor has seats doe about 40-50 then their is a balcony area where another 20 people can sit on awkward stools then people just... More

All the greatest reviews are true. Definitely worth visiting any given night of the week. Come earlier, show starts around 6 and they are closing quite early. Beautiful atmosphere, great memories!

Go there on Fridays for an incredible Flamenco performance. But, go early - doors open at 8:00, theatre fills up within minutes (there are only about 30 seats). Then there are the rafters upstairs. Yes, people are literally handing from the rafters. People sit upstairs, with legs and feet dangling; behind them there are "seats" on the window sills; and... More

Recommended by a BA steward who said it'd be an authentic a display of Flamenco as we'd see any where. Hidden off a small side street the door opens onto a small bar and a performance area to the right. Packed with people sitting (even with legs dangling above heads from an overhead walkway. A raised area to the front... More

I never seen a flamenco before but I was totally memerised by raw emotion and energy of the dancer. Highly recommend and as advised by others - go early if you want to grab a seat. Otherwise, you will be sitting on the stairs or swinging your legs on the balcony! Very small venue and we were upstairs shoulder to... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
