What an experience! We searched for a local place to enjoy some Flamenco. A small intimate venue. Arrived early on a Friday evening and waited for an hour but the wait was worth it. The vocalist and guitarist were excellent and so was the tapas and the Cava. Entrance fee is 10 Euro and a glass a Cava is offered.... More

Visited this bar on a Thursday night. It opened around 8:30pm and was 8 Euro entrance which included a drink. The bar holds around 80 and was full by the time the Cuban band played. We sat on a small balcony which had a great view of the stage and everyone on the dance floor dancing whatever the Cuban dance... More

Needed to look for the entrance but finally found the completely photo-plastered door in the side street. perfect for some cold tapas and a beer while you listen to smooth Jazz.Look for the Website /Programm and spend 1-2 hours if you are there!

We visit this place for our first flamengo experience and in the end we were amazed of the performance. Very authentic show with traditional spirit and not touristic at all. Highly recommended.

We came here on a Friday evening (dec 26th). My sister had found this place while looking for a cheaper and more local experience for flamenco performances. It's a little bit hidden in a alley near Sant Antoni station. The entrance is a light blue door filled with pictures (see one of my pics). Cheap entrance fee: 10 euros, with... More

The venue is tiny, and they squeeze a lot of people in. Food and drink were available but I wouldn't bother with the food here. Had read in previous reviews that you need to get there slightly early, and we found a queue when we arrived. Well worth queuing though as the flamenco dancing and music was incredible.

Fantastic passionate flamenco at this venue, a bargain at 10euro entry with a drink included! Beers were only 2.50 euros and the staff and atmosphere was very friendly.

We went to see the flaminco show ; it was pouring rain but it was worth getting wet and go especially to this show. It was amazing and we were hypnotized by the dancer ; the guitarist, and the singer.very intimate show , at least an hour and a half. It wasnt crowded as other reviews said, maybe because of... If it weren't for the incredible and talented flamenco musicians, singer and dancer, this would have been a disaster. But to set the stage, I was with my parents who are in their 60s/70s. The main floor has seats doe about 40-50 then their is a balcony area where another 20 people can sit on awkward stools then people just... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
