This is not one of the bad zoos, but there seems to be a severe lack of funds. The place is dirty, it is worn and looks old. Most of the animals seemed healthy, but some of the monkeys were showing signs of jailed-animal trauma. The zoo has a lot of birds, and really suites families with small children best.

If you have a few extra hours one day definitely put the zoo on your list of things to do. One of the better zoos I've been to. A wide variety of animals and the layout is easy to navigate. The seal show and dolphin show were fun.

We visited this zoo during our trip to Barcelona. Kids love this place. My boy was so excited to watch all these animals. This zoo is well maintained and clear. although we missed the popular Dolphin show but the trip is well worth it.

This is a very nice zoo and our two and four year old just loved it. The animals looked well cared for and the exhibits were very informative without being overwhelming.
