We were really impressed with Discover Walks in Paris last year and were not disappointed when we went on the El Born Picasso walking tour with Discover Walks in Barcelona. The ethuasism of our guide for her surroundings and her willingness to assist with any queries about Barcelona (or for that matter, Spain) couldn't help but make you love the... More

We went to Barcelona well prepared, and to be honest, quite some of the story telling during the walking tour sounded very familiar if you have read your travel guide well. Having said that, the Discover Walks walking tours are good fun, the guide was very likable and professional. You have the opportunity to ask anything about Barcelona you want.... More

I used a different walking tour last trip, and thought I would try this organization this time. We did Ramblas and Barri Gotic and the El Born tour. My husband is wheelchair dependent, which worked out excellent. Both guides were enthusiastic and loaded with great commentary. The time of the tours, about 1 1/2 hours is great. Their meeting areas... More

I went on the El Born and Gaudi walks. Each guide had her and his individual approach to make each tour informative and interesting. There was no doubt that they knew what they were talking about while skilfully moving us through the sometimes busy streets. These walks provided a great way of finding out about the history of these areas... More

I took the Gaudi tour expertly run by Biel. Three of us met our guide outside Casa Batllo which is where the tour started. Biel was charming, very interesting and gave such an informative tour it made my stay in Barcelona even more worthwhile. He is a local guy and had such a wealth of knowledge which he imparted with... One of our ports of call on our recent Regal Princess cruise was Barcelona. I reviewed our visit to the Basilica La Sagrada Familia - it is not to be missed. Following that paid tour we took a free walking tour of Ramblas and the Barri Gotic. We had signed up for it prior to starting our trip (http://discoverwalks.com). We... More

We took The Gaudi Tour. It started directly outside Casa Batllo which was rather busy. However, our guide Xavi took us further along the street to talk about the three houses in this row that are of particular interest. He was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly. He is a local and showed his passion for the region throughout. We thoroughly... More

I went on two tours in one day... The Gaudi tour with Xavi and the Barri Gotic tour with Patricia. Both were very good. Xavi was very well-spoken and passionate about his subject-very knowledgeable about Gaudi and with a small group, he could answer everyone's questions. Patricia had a much larger group (20+) in the afternoon, and did well considering... More

Went on the Gaudi tour with Xavi - a very passionate young man who exuded enthusiasm about Gaudi and his architecture in Barcelona. It was much better learning about the great man's talents through Xavi than by reading a book. Highly recommended.

Picked up a leaflet during a short break to Barelona and with only an hour or so to spare went on the El Born Tour with Xavi, an enthusiastic local. Very relaxed walk, with lots of good information from a very engaging guide. Much more information than you would get on a self guided tour from a guide book. No... More
