My partner and I were staying in the Silkin Hotel Diagonal over the road and came here everyday for meals and shopping. Stocked with only a few stores, it has the usual good quality European ones that you would want and expect in a mall 3x its size. As an american living in Barcelona last year, Glories mall was where we went to get just about anything we needed. It is not touristy, but has a lot of great stores, and in the summer they have the sales. There is also a carrefour there (which is their equivalent to Wal-mart, but better). The metro stops right there, so...
