My friend and I booked the green hammam experience for out last night in Barcelona, having met an American girl who had highly recommended it. We had walked and walked and were ready to relax. The staff were lovely, my scrub and massage were heavenly, well worth the money we paid! When we went into the turkish bath it was... More

it's not clean, you have to keep shoes in the same place you walk barefoot... You have to keep those shoes in the pool, it's disgusting... Plus, it'a factory, not a place to rest... The couples are noisy, and it's in a place where all the homless are sleeping outside and in front of the door of the hamam... Never... More

This was a wonderful relaxing experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. The selection of pools were amazing. I was completely zoned out after the pools and massage, and just would have loved to have spent much longer there. We were brought refreshments and fruit afterwards which was lovely. I will go again.

If you have spare time during your visit in Barcelona, or even if you don't, make sure you book yourself in at this place. I just got back and I wish I could have stayed longer! Nice staff and facilities, towels and slippers provided, just bring your swimsuit. It is quite dark inside, there are pools at different temperatures and... More

Another great TripAdvisor suggestion. Very very relaxing. Everything was booked but what can you do when you try to book one day before, but... we were able to squeeze in a 15 minute massage with our package. The pools were very relaxing, and went from warm to hot and cold to ice bath. They felt great switching from one to... More

This is a great lace to go in Barcelona if you want to relax, the massages and different temperature pools remind me of a hammam in Marroco.. Try and go at an odd time i.e. luck or late at night to avoid the rush of people.. There is a lot of echo in the pools which can break the relaxing... More

I've visited many spas and had many massages but this one exceeded all expectations. Hubby and I were very impressed upon walking in to walking out of this place. Upon entry we are greeted warmly by an english speaking lady at the reception where we were offered tea and sater along with the spa and massage choices. We opted for... More

Found this spa on line and booked as a treat for me and my husband. Not disappointed at all. Fantastic massage, lovely pools ( the salt pool was my favourite) such a chilled atmosphere. Staff spoke limited English but we got by. Could have lost days here, totally relaxed when we left!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
