Must visit whilst your on the mont

Great place to visit with plenty to see and do. Lots of history with the castle being used right up to the seventies to hold political prisinors. Lovely views over Barcelona.

We stopped here on our tour of Barcelona, and I am glad that our tour guide suggested it. The view of the city is amazing. There are many things to see here but the view is worth the trip just by itself. It's a must see as far as I'm concerned.

This is also one of the sightseeing bus stops. There are many things to see around the area. The fact that the hop on hop off bus stops here says it all. The views of Barcelona are beautiful. Close to the palace and other interesting points.

Its well worth the trip to go to Monjuic if only for the amazing views of the city. The cable cars up to the castle are well worth the trip and you can see where the Olympic diving happened.

We chose a round trip on the cable car. Thoroughly enjoyable with great views over Barcelona. The park itself is very pleasant to walk round.

The Montjuic Park is beautiful. You will enjoy a walk in it. You can come directly from the Plaza de Espanya, passing by the Venetian Towers. It has good museums and beautiful gardens.

I have been here 3 times and I never tire of visiting it.From the road you take the cable car to go up to the old fortress at the top of Montjuic. The views from the cable car are amazing and you can appreciate just how big Barcelona is.At the old fortress the views over the harbour are great and you... When visiting Barcelona this is a must do trip. Get the cable car up to the fort where you can get the fabulous views of the city and beyond! Have lunch in the forts courtyard and take the opportunity to enjoy a little history.

Walking down from castle there are two slides with wooden ramp between them when you get on at the top of the slide you don't see that it ends about a meter from the ground as a result I got a back injury from falling onto solid ground..While I was still there another lady was about to do the same... Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
