Drink on the terrace of the Miramar hotel, go on the cable car round the towers...look at the fantastic view. Parc de Montjuïc is the upper station of the Funicular de Montjuïc, which is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona in the city of Barcelona. Go for it.

If you want to get out of the city fast and easy, just go up in Montjuic. You have amazing views from up and can be surround of nature from a short walk of the city.

Take the table car up / down and experience great view of Barcelona. I think the cost is 7-8 EUR which is pretty reasonable. There is a castle and gardens so you could spend a couple hours here and soak up the scenery

Great place to have a stroll. It can be best accessed by funicular from the Parallel-el Metro station. Included in the park is the art museum of Joan Miro a must see.

Took the funicular, to close to the park. great walks around the open air theatre and Olympic park. Cable car up to the castle is fun and views back over Barcelona are spectacular. Would recommend.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
