It was great to walk up to the top of this park, and then have a drink at the restaurant on top overlooking the whole of Barcelona. Priceless views! From here you can then walk to the Olympic venues, plus the MNAC - art museum, and the Magic Fountain. A nice afternoon/evening activity

I have been to Parc Guell, Tibidabo, and finally went to visit the castle of Montjuic. I must say it is very beautiful and the experience of going up the mountain is fantastic. The views of the city are breathtaking and the castle is wonderful.

If you want an amazing view of Barcelona and like walking through gardens then pay this parc a visit. Take the fernicular it's the cheapest way. Might get a bit boring for kids unless you take the cable car.

Definitely worth the visit as its the only place you can really appreciate the whole city. Make sure its a clear day though. Took the metro to the base of the cable cars. There is a restraunt at the top which had tapas and meals - reasonably priced.

Amazing view from the top, huge park, very peaceful and relaxing, many little path to explore it, botanik park is around, and as well acess to the Museum of Art...

Take plenty of water, as the tourist bus drops dyou at the bottom of the hill ( quite steep). It is free to go in and you will never have seen anything like this in your life and never will again. The Gaudi park is more like I would imagine Wonderland to be....no straight lines, loads of colour, all higgledy... More

Beautiful park. Nice fountain assemblies as you walk through the park. A breathtaking view of Barcelona. Probably the best one, to compete with the one from Tibidabu. Also a nice sea view and a great place for picnics, jogging or simply walking in no haste.

We took the cable cars from the beach to the park, then walked up the hill to the "Castle", which is really a fort. Everything is free, there are a few surprises around such as the garden with more than a dozen terraced lily ponds. We got a little lost. The public maps are not in great detail, but hey... More
