It is a MUST tour to do if you have young children. Our 6 yr old enjoyed every bit of it. Ann Marie was our guide and she is awesome!! She was great with kids. She had all her handouts ready. Kids loved walking with her, chatting, singing and learning all about art and architecture and the city in a... More

Excellent way of discovering Barcelona! And it's free! You can then give a donation according to your degree of satisfaction. And believe me, it's worth every minute!

Hi Mark, Thank you for the review. The tour you took, however, wasn't this one but our daily Old City Free Walking Tour. I am glad that you had such a good time but, if you could move the review to the right listing ("Runner Bean Walking Tours") to avoid confusion, we would really appreciate it. Hope you will visit... April 7th tour. Lowri was our guide for Barri gotic tour. She was very knowledgeable in history of Barcelona. Her presentation of historic events was really vivid and entertaining. She was able to accommodate our requests too. Really happy that we booked the tour with Runner Bean. Please tip guides at least Euro 10 per person, if you like the... More

Hi Jack, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your tour with Lowri. You have actually posted your review to our Kids and Family Waking Tour listing. You went on the adult Old City scheduled Free Walking Tour and had a great time too it seems :-). Thanks for the feedback. I will certainly pass it on to Lowri. Ann-Marie More

An absolutely excellent way to tour Barcelona with young children (and very enjoyable for adults as well)! So much fun and activity packed into a three hour tour we could hardly believe it. Our 7 and 5 year old boys were engaged the entire time and even opted for an additional half hour visit to a candy making shop. Anne... More

Hello there. It was a full tour that day and we did go over time a bit to catch the sweet shop! I certainly have to keep the tour action packed to keep the young ones enthused. Your review was lovely. Thanks a million and say hi to the two boys from me. I am delighted they made some good... More

We took part with our 2 daughters, 6 and 3 years of age. They both enjoyed the tour although our older daughter usually doesn't like walking at all and the tour didn't claim to be designed for a 3y old one (they charge from 4y upwards). Ann-Marie was very friendly and kept the children well amused for 3 hours with... More

Hello to the lovely Turkish family… and many thanks for the great review. It was quite a young tour that day and your 3 year old was quite clever and got involved in a lot of the activities. Tell the girls I was asking after them and I hope the youngest was pleased when she got back her water bottle.... More

We are ex-pats living about an hour away from Barcelona, so we visit the city on a regular basis and have seen most all of the sites. My parents were visiting us and I wanted a different kind of tour that would be fun for them and my children (ages 5 and 2). This tour did not disappoint! Ann-Marie was... More

Hello to the whole family, grandparents included! I am sooo glad you enjoyed the tour (the first one of this season). Your son was great and it was lovely to have a child that had lived and practised all the traditions we were showing the other families. Hoping I run into you next time I visit Girona :-) Ann-Marie More

We took the Runner Bean Kids & Family Tour in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. It was wonderful and we highly recommend it. Our eleven year old twins loved the mix of drawing, sweet sampling, walking, learning, seeing cool giants, even singing! Ann-Marie has a great knack with children and she had all the eight kids ranging in age from... More

We joint the tour! It was fantastic! The instructor ( sorry i forgot her name as it's been quite a long time) guiding us in a very fun way. My kids love it! It's the best way to let the kids understand more about the culture.

We started our trip to Barcelona with the Kids & Family Walking Tour with Ann-Marie. She provided a great introduction to the city and was able to engage our 3 young daughters (ages 6, 6 and 3) during the full 3 hours. She came full of props and stories perfect for the kids. She also showed us so many hidden... More
