We booked this tour with Barcelona Holidays at the tourist Information centre. It was a very good tour with an informative guide. Our group was small 8. The tour of Cavas Freixnet on the train through the cellars and with the Freixnet guide was very good. We were given a sample and snacks, and were able to purchase bottles. We... More

Interesting tour of Cavas Freixenet; Sitges seemed nice but not enough time there for lunch before Bacardi visit. Fun to make own mojito!

We had a lovely day. on this tour and would definitely recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed each part of it, but loved Sitges so much we stayed there and got a train back to Barcelona later.

I booked this for me and my two teen boys during a week long stay in Barcelona. I booked online with BCN travel before I went as I wanted to visit Sitges and the Freixenet cellars and it seemed a good deal. It was! There were only 4 on our tour (including us 3) and we had a full seater... More

Visited here as part of a tour group to France and Spain...not a drinker but find it all so fascinating. 20 km of tunnels and over a million bottles of cava produced annually...and that many also stored underground...the tour was very well done and as we waited, we had free internet to check on things at home. Recommend.

The wine tour was quite interesting, and our guide was very knowledgeable. Since our stay was during off season, there was only 6 of us in our group which was really nice. We did not do the city tour as well. We booked the train from Barcelona ourselves, and the concierge at our hotel arranged our tickets for the wine... More

The trip to the Winery is worth the time and effort. There is some beautiful scenery after you get out of town and once you are there you will get an informative presentation on the Spanish version of Champagne. Then there is a tour that shows the production process. They make some quality sparkling wines that are not offered in... More

The wine tour was excellent. The Freixnet tour guide was knowledgeable and warm. It was interesting to tour the cellars and learn about the different products Freixnet offers (not all offered in the USA). After the tour, it's about another 20 minutes to Sitges beach. This is not really a tour as you are pretty much left to your own... More

I was unable to pre-book as the Freixenet phone number seemed to be unable to take incoming calls, but we decided to simply turn up and trust to luck. Take the overland train R4 from Barcelona Sants station (platform 7) to San Sadorni d'Anoia. The scenery along the 45 minute route is a mixture of industrial and countryside, becoming more... More

We took the wine tour, not really knowing what to expect, we were certainly not disappointed, the coach took us through some interesting countryside, and the tour guide spoke excellent English. She explained to us a few things regarding the history of catalonia and made some interesting comments. The wine production factory and cellars were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the... More
