We chose to go here on our first night in Barcelona because it was near our hotel, and we have eaten at other Hard Rock Cafes so the food was familiar to us. We ended up eating here on our last night too, because we were too tired to walk to the other restaurants towards the end of Las Ramblas.... More

Was quite surprised to find this place didn't live up to the hype. the drinks were delicious but the food was so salty it was unreal. My lips were so sore after eating the chips. Over priced too, but it is a hyped chain so we knew that going in.

Mythical place to go with friends to spend a good evening, enjoy good music and hamburgers. I recommend you try the veggie version. It is very good. Seems you to eat meat, but eat :) Potatoes with accompanying are also very good, although sometimes a little greasy. I recommend visiting the store, because they usually have Bangin shirts. Well, sort... More

At the time of visiting I was on crutches and the staff could not have been more helpful, we were found a table after only a short wait, food and service are both excellent, portions plentiful a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The price, though, is quite high for the type of food it is, but is a landmark bar in town, and go from time to time is highly recommended, especially for the atmosphere of the local rock music breathes. If you've been to one ... Been at all, so q if you do not like your kind of food do... More

Came here on a few occasions. It's what you expect decor wise, very clean and friendly staff. Two staff especially. A young lady from England on work experience, she struggled to pour a pint but the Spanish waiter who spoke excellent english made this a talking point and had some banter between the four of us. The live music was... More

We went here for lunch after a rather heavy evening the night before and it didn't disappoint. The service was very good, really friendly, attentive waiters/waitresses as well as good food. I would go back!

Great food, great music, friendly staff but very very busy. Queues over an hour long each night, however worth the wait, Prices are fairly average for Hard Rock. Always worth visiting.

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
