This is my favourite place in Barca. I lived here for a year and I loved going here. For the scenery and the crazy haunted house :-)

The views were spectacular, the churches are excellent. Just climb to the top and let yourself think about how those buildings were constructed atop a mountain like that. It is extraordinary. The tram was not very expensive, but would probably suggest the bus as being better. It was cheaper and the rickety old tram didn't really add anything unless you're... More

Most beautiful sunset of my life. It's not hard to get there from city centre, you can take a tram and then a bus, and once you're there, you can enjoy the view of Barcelona, amusement park or a beautiful church. As a not-religious person, I found this church (cathedral?) one of the prettiest and most interesting that I've ever... More

We went by Tram but you could only go halfway, if you get off at the tram walk to the vantage point and enjoy the sun!

Consider hiking up the mountain if you are up for it! The tram drops you off about halfway, and then there is a scenic, not too easy path to the top (make sure you have offline maps as there is no data near the top of the mountain to help you navigate-- I used citymaps2go). The view at the top... More

The high altitude means it is quite a bit cooler and windier than the city so if it's not summer, dress warmly. The bus transportation was tricky and we made it but I couldn't tell you exactly how. View from the amusement park and Cathedral are definitely worth any visit to Barcelona.

The funicular was not working on the day we visited, on a Friday, not sure why. We got the train to Tibidabo metro, bus number 196 just across the road from the metro. We really wanted to go up so decided to walk up the mountain. Would recommend it for the views but be aware it will take the best... More

Be aware that there are two ways to get to the Tibidabo, one is the one going to the Tibidabo park and the other is the train going for Terrasa which is cheaper. The views are magnificant from there, it is a must visit and worth it

The amusement park is nothing special other than it is old and characteristics. However the view of Barcelona is stunning, well worth. You can go by public transport. If you want to go by car at the weekend you should plan to be there before 11 when it opens. Otherwise you wont find any parking place
