I don't think that I can add much to the comments about the views atc. But if you happen to be over 60 years of age, then this piece of information might be of use: Do not purchase your funicular rail ticket(s) from a machine. Go to the ticket desk for a massive discount!

An amusement park and a church next to eachother, that´s something you won´t see everywhere. Be sure to take the elevator in the church up to the top floor and then walk up the stairs as hight as you can get, just below the christ statue. Very beautiful views!

A very enjoyable trip with the funicular and a very cute amusant park on top! The views were absolutely breath taking and it was actually a nice place to sit and enjoy a beer and enjoy the view!

This is a very old fashioned funfair, but it still works! That was not for me. Rather it was the view, the lunch and the Sacred Heart Church which, in fact, dominates the city; it can be seen from just about everywhere. For €2.50 you go up the elevator in the church to a high outlook. Then you go up... More

Playground was a bit "special" and expensive also the way up is quite a lot. However, the place is definitely worth a visit, especially for a photographer.

I've been up quite a few mountains and such so I didn't have particularly high expectations as it doesn't look that high from town. In fact the view from the top is actually excellent and it is worth the trip. You can take the bus or the old tram and then the funicular to the top. You can also walk... More

It is difficult to describe the incredible atmosphere of this place. It is stunning inside and out, also the view from there over Barcelona is a must see.

A must see when in Barcelona. The views of the city are amazing. Spend a whole afternoon there, it's well worth it. Easy to get to. Take the L7 metro line to the last stop Av. Tibidabo. Walk outside the station and cross the road. You can either take the tram up or the 196 bus which is cheaper and... More

We went to see the place, just for the views - we knew that the amusement park is just for small children, so there was nothing for us. Using the funicular was experience and when we reached the summit, it was really worth the trip. we also took the lift-ride to the church's tower (only 2.5e/person)! Really recommend it.

By the time you take the old tram up the mountain and then the rail bus, you'll question whether or not it'll be worth it. But once you reach the mountain top the view is something else. You can see the whole of Barcelona and it is simply stunning. There's also some park rides for the kids and also another... More
