This cathedral is the dark compared to the light of Gaudi's masterpiece. you have to have your shoulders covered and be appropriately dressed. It is a Gothic masterpiece but can be spooky, they have electric candles for you to light in memory. Lot of Gold some beautiful pieces.

I find it strange to have to rate a church. It's a very beautiful cathedral, take your time to enjoy it's atmosphere.

Gothis Cathedral... you won't be disappointing... they won't let you in if you're wearing shorts or Eye shirts... try to buy a scarf & cover your shoulders, or wear T-shirts & pants. Very sacred & beautiful church.

The cathedral has what you might expect and will be on most tourist's list of places to go (and won't be disappointed), but make sure you go into the cloisters where the resident geese make this just that bit more memorable.

A wonderful Gothic Cathedral to visit in Barcelona! They are very strict about what you wear to enter so cover your shoulders and down to your knees or they will not let you in. The cathedral is beautiful though and the story of 13 year old Eulalia who gave her life for her faith is amazing. They have a wonderful... More

Beautiful church. You have him spend a bit of time. Protection of very aggressive. Do not let people inside dressed inappropriately. After the Mass, shamelessly throw people out of the church. During the Mass, hang around the church. It's kind of embarrassing. Spoils is a little picture of this beautiful place.

Very detailed, intricate exterior and beautiful, kind of spooky interior. We happened to go on a fairly dark afternoon, so it seemed to be that much more "gothic". Saw it on a sunny day, and it was more beautiful than grim.

The beautiful exterior of this cathedral is nothing compared to the magnificence inside. It is absolutely beautiful. Once you have finished marveling a the architecture, the religious art work, and the stain glass windows pay the 3€ and ride to the roof. You will see Barcelona in a whole new way. The views are breath taking!
