I would definitely suggest to pay the three euros to go to the top because it has amazing views of the city. If you go before noon or after 6:45 at night you don't have to pay to enter the church. During the peak times, noon-6:45 or so, they ask you to pay to regulate the traffic coming in. I... More

If your in the area, stop by and see the church. Sholders must be covered and your shorts can't be too short. When finished, exit down the steps to the left and check out the segment of Roman aqueduct dating from the 1st century...one of the oldest structures in Barcelona. That was neat to see.

This is a smart stop to make. The architecture is amazing, and the construction is so brilliant. Take your time walking through and be sure to go upstairs and see the views. Yes, there is a small fee, but it keeps it magnificent for all of us to visit.

A beautiful cathedral in a wonderful location with space to step back and admire. We went to have a look inside and were asked to buy tickets. I am not strongly religious but do STRONGLY object to pay to visit a church.

Just beautiful. A must-see and don't forget to walk around the cathedral as well, impressively big next to the narrow houses and alleys that surrounds it.

A must see as this is a very significant monument to Barcelona's history. An amazing historic piece of craftsmanship.

The Barcelona Cathedral is on a large plaza with a lot of activity and it is one of the stops of the Hop On Hop Off bus. The Cathedral is huge and dominates the entire area. There is a fee of 7 euros to enter and then explore on your own...be sure to refer to the map they give you... More

Most people want to see the Segrada Familia cathedral but this one is still worth a visit when strolling through the Gothic Quarter. There was a service taking place in a side chapel but we were able to walk around and admire the rest of the building.

The Cathedrals all seem to blend into one another's memories after you have seen a dozen or so on one trip. This one stands out for the beauty of it. It was massive and breathtaking, definitely worth a visit
