Staff on the shop floors were extremely unhelpful! We visited the restaurant on the top floor at 4.30pm we asked for afternoon tea and cake, which we thought would be available. We were gestured at and grumpily shoved toward the self service cafe, which we didn't want. They apparently only serve full three course lunch/dinner from 11 am right through... More

The department store is pretty overwhelming and there is just a lot of stuff. I shopped there towards the end of July to take advantage of "rebaixes" the great deals that can be had in nearly every store. The deals didn't seam that great, but we shopped nonetheless:) On the plus side there are many brand names and designers that... More

The warehouse itself offers a big variety of clothes and other stuff and the supermarket in the basement is really fantastic. Attracted by the offer (already placarded at the airport) of 10% I requested the card at the service desk. At the cash desk I was wondering the 10% was not discounted from the price (a jacket for 165 Euro),... More

This department mall seems to be spread out around Placa Catalunya. The goods at some locations seems to be thrown everywhere. We did find one right next to the Catalunya Metro station that has a decent basement with well organized supermarket.

My wife and I visited the store in Cataluyna square - men's department. We gradually became aware that we're were being literally stalked by security. This was very unsettling and indeed insulting. We tried to ignore this and shop normally. We had settled on a rather expensive pair of braces and a belt as a present for our son and... More

Shopping is kind of a personal experience, and a lot depends on expectations. Coming from the U.S., the "malls" in Barcelona seem smaller and less well stocked, but the variety of goods and the artfulness of the design (especially in shoes and clothes) are superior. I found it unusual, however, that the stores often only have what they display in... More

The big and magnificent structure is just a distraction from the horrible store inside. The stores inside are extremely expensive, messy and the staff is rude. Besides, the prices are an insult!!! The worst place to spend your money and time.

I loved shopping at this place for its supermarket located in the basement. When I went on day trips, I would shop here to buy snacks for lunch: bread, meat, fruit, and chocolate. Lindt and Valor chocolates as well as other brands are sold here and the prices are very reasonable. In fact, the Valor cocoa powder is worth packing... More

Visited the men's clothing department this afternoon. Staff member at first pay point sent me to another where the cashier was busy and brusquely told me I would have to wait. Found another where the guy casually dropped my payment card on the counter when he had finished with it. They may think they are cool. I think they are... More

It was our last night in Barcelona & it felt like we'd been to all the shops/stands on the Ramblas, but I still needed a few more little souvenirs. It was getting late & I didn't want to be desperately buying them at the airport! Thank goodness we discovered the souvenir department on the first floor here. Wasn't a huge... More
