Long queue with no shade, rude staff, need to queue in a cafe to buy a bottle of water, very few objects of 'art'.... Save yourself a day and €11+, just avoid this place.

Museum great but RIPPED OFF at the cafe managed by rude and unhelpful staff WITH ATTITUDE. Ruined Miro's efforts to give a meaningful experience, Visit museum and appreciate the art, but take your own food and drinks, there are many places in the area to have a picnic and enjoy the rest of mont juic

We visited this museum with very different perception of the museum. Teenager boy really got bored, white little younger girl really admired both the pictures and sculptures. It was quite difficult to find your way around at the museum, I really doubt that we managed to visit all exhibition rooms. On other hand, this lack of order made the house... More

Just visited Fundacio Joan Miro, Barcelona. It is easily accesible from the Paral-lel metro station, where You have a connection to a Funiculaire Montjuic. Otherwise the climbing by foot would be hard. The museum itself is quite large and gives a thorough view for the art and life of Joan Miro. A must visit if You admire his art. It... More

We climbed all the way to the fundacio (should have taken the metro uphill). The fundacio was not very crowded and we (a family of 5) really enjoyed the visit, which lasted for about 2 hours. We had purchased our tickets online a couple days before the visit. The visit gives a superb overview of Miro's life and achievements. The... More

We visited the Miró Foundation on July, I admit I'm not a fan of his work but had an entertaining morning. One family member is a fan and it seemed to me he enjoyed the visit more than I did. I has a huge collection of his works, maybe even the biggest one and it gives you a complete view... More

Expected a lot after a first visit many years ago but was disappointed. It all seemed a bit hard work. Poorly lit works, oh-so-serious English descriptions. The joy and play in Miro's work now subservient to the ideal of a past genius. And why no picture taking allowed? People just want some engagement...

The gallery is exactly what we expected: a showcase of one of the brightest artists of the last century. Located on one of the best landscaped areas of cities we've been to, the Foundation is an amazing place for an artsy afternoon.

A great museum that offers a wonderful view into what Miro was as a great artist. Understanding this man's world was made so much easier by the great setup of the museum. All museums should be this well set up in order to help the viewer understand the point of view of the artist

Only had an hour here & was disappointed we didn't have more time... a great museum & overview of Joan Miro's work and life... walk around the gardens outside for even more spectacular views of the city. If you're a fan... make sure to allocate a couple of hours at a minimum... nice gift shop as well even though I... More
