This park is always crowded and deserves to be. On a warm day you won't want to leave! So many things to see and do. Give yourself at leave a half day for it!
It worths to see a park designed by Gaudi but to me the green plants and specially the atmosphere influenced by several musicians and guitarists were more interesting than the features. There is always big queue for the bathrooms. One has to manage it:)
The park is on a hill, we went there by subway and took the escalators to the top, and it is a long way up. Once you get to the top, no more escalators and a lot of walking. We really enjoyed it, although now you pay an entrance fee. On the way out, we asked a policeman if there... More
We took the train and entered the back way. We learned that the price went from €0 to €8 in just two years - yikes. We felt like we had to see it for coming this far. Neat Gaudi style and fanciful feel of the place. Not a must but the views are great.
But worth it. Like a lot of other places in order to visit all of the features of the park there is a fee. Gaudi's home is worth the price of addmission. if you take the metro to Vallcarca and follow the signs to Guerll Park be prepared to walk up very steep hills. So steep that after a while... More
I was at the Park a few years ago and had a great time so I brought my family this time. I would still recommend it as a great place to walk around and view the city and the park, just know that you need to buy tickets in advance. Also if you take the city bus it brings you... More
Confusing signage but ?8 to enter the gaudi park mosaic area, felt a little bit cheated and not sure that's how gaudi envisaged his patk... After paying to visit so many of his buildings already we just walked the forest paths etc which were peaceful in their emptiness of people! Lovely walkways and sculptural paths though littered with street hawkers
I was really surprised to discover that the Goverment has decided to charge the entrance for the Gaudi park...quite disappointing.
This park is okay (but probably not worth seeing if you have a limited time in Barcelona), but whatever you do, don't pay the €8 entry fee to get into the "Monumental Zone." It's not worth it by a long shot.
