We went to the park just to wander around and find out where it was as we had tickets for the monumenatl part that we had booked on line. It's a long walk from the nearest station and all up hill so it takes time and you need good legs. The main park is all free and its a park... More

Another must-see of Anthony Gaudi's work is the park guell. It is a free public garden crowded with tourists. Gaudi's work is noticeable at the entrance and the work of the stairs which lead to an upper terrace with a longitudinal wavy bench designed by the architect. I love the bench and the magnificent view of the city but what... More

Guell Parc was a bit of a hike from nearest bus stops or metro lines, didn't mind though as it was worth a visit when we got to view the amazing architecture and beautiful scenery. The viewing point was outstanding, you could see for miles and this place is very well looked after as the landscaping was superb. Definately worth... More

Very glad we went to this park. Absolutely beautiful especially at sunset. Make sure you get a ticket to the monument section. Approximately 8 euro.

A friend tipped me off that the best way to see this park is through a tour company. She said that's the only way to avoid the line. We booked a 4-hour city tour through Barcelona Day Tours (found them here on Trip Advisor). They arranged the Park Guell tickets for us as the last stop on our tour. We... More

As of Aug. 28, 2014 - the official website (parkguell.cat) HIDES a CRITICAL detail of your advance ticket purchase: ••• When you pick your entry time, you MUST enter within 30 minutes of that time. If you are late, you lose your money and have to buy more tickets. This will typically mean you will have to wait another 3... More

One of those places that you must visit while in Barcelona and for a good reason. The scultpure winds through a higher part of the city with amazing views of the surrounding areas, hidden benches and all sorts of oddities that mark gaudis work!

We went to Park Guell in early August, when it was very warm and very crowded. It was worth the wait of paid admission to se the well know landmarks within the park, but it was relatively difficult to get there and out of it with public transportation. For our arrival, we took the Metro, and walked up the steep... More

There was a bit of a wait to get into the Monuments section of the park. The outer area (free of charge) isn't all that exciting but very nice to walk while you are waiting. The monuments are very cool, and great photo ops to show your friends when you return.

It is a nice park to see. The paid area is a fine work of Gaudi. The park was planned to be a township by Gaudi, but only two houses got completed (which is part of the paid area). The unpaid area has many good view points overlooking Barcelona. Tip: Prior booking to the park is advisable. We went there... More
