This was an excellent walk. Took the metro and got off at Vallcarca and took multiple escalators to a high portion of the park. Then we walked down to the bottom. Awesome views, art, and flowers. Really thought it was worth the effort. However, shops were closing around the area in early evening, but the shade made it an awesome... More

This is an incredible must see park on your visit to Barcelona. It is like entering a magical land of make believe - the structures are the creation of a very quirky and imaginative mind. Really wonderful place to see. Wish it were less crowded to allow for better photos but this is a do not miss park!

The gardens and mosaics are interesting and beautiful. The gardens are a relaxing place for a walk, views of the city and bird watching. There are several flocks of wild parrots and parakeets which adds a nice touch (escaped pets, not indigenous). Moderate crowds but a nice break from hectic Barcelona

Standing proud above the city, Guell Park is quite a hike out. Check your maps though as a couple of approaches have external escalators (and in the heat of the day, you'll be grateful). The views of the city are fabulous from the park, and gives you a real perspective of the whole area. Depending on which way you approach,... More

Today we spent our day at the park and I was so happy that our previous plans fell. Such a wonderful artichtecture. Gaudi siprised me even more with the work of art in this park. The park was crowded but it seems like everyone was enjoying the art and the wonderful views of the city of Barcelona. Just walk through... More

A free way to see some Gaudi whimsy but not much else, this failed housing development turned city park is a pain to get to by public transit though certainly doable and not fun if it is hot outside. It will not be a highlight of anyone's trip, but it's better than sitting in your hotel room.

My friend and I walked through the Gracia neighborhood and window shopped, and worked our way to this park. We were there in the late afternoon, and it was practically overflowing with people. It's a nice stroll throughout, but it can be very hard to spend time looking at or taking pictures of the mosaics with so many other people.... More

I spent the whole day wandering here. Be sure to bring a camera there are some great photo ops! Not many places to get relief from the heat and lots of walking, just a heads up.
