This is a mixed review. First the good part. We had Paloma as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and had lots of energy.  We had requested Ellie (she had previously been our guide) but when Ellie was unavailable at the last moment, Paloma did an impressive job filling in. Within minutes Paloma suggested a panoramic tour and warned us... More

We traveled from Dubai on a mediteranean cruise and used Hola Barcelona Tours for touring around Barcelona for half a day on 2nd December. Grace helped us complete the booking online and we paid a small deposit to confirm the same. On the day of our tour, our Driver-Guide Mr. Louis was waiting right outside the cruise terminal, on time... More

We were delighted with the Hola! Barcelona Tours’ Gaudi and Gothic walking tour. Our guide Narsis was excellent; he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Barcelona and gave us a real insight into this beautiful city. He gave us invaluable information about the Metro (we had previously been confused about the ticket options), plus gave us lots of other information... More

My friends and I took the Gothic Quarter tour with Ellie. It was a small group (3 of us) and she was extremely attentive and tweaked the tour to our interests, recommending restaurants and pointing out places for us to check out when our tour was over... She was a highlight of my trip to Barcelona. I only wish we... More

The company was very responsive, and customized our tour after I explained exactly what sights I wanted to see. W did a Gothic and Gaudi walking tour, about 4 hours. Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
