We first sailed Orsom in July 2010, a truly magnificent experience, an englishman at the helm, needless to say on our third visit back to Barcelona July 2012, we decided to re-live the experience which we had previously enjoyed so much. We booked the 18:00 jazz cruise, no englishman at the the helm but his crew, we sailed out of... More

By far, favorite experience in Barcelona! We boarded the Orsom at 3:30 in the afternoon and sailed through the harbour and along the coast line for an hour and a half. The front half of the boat is made of firm nets that you can lounge on and enjoy cocktails from the small bar (which we did) and it is... More

We've just got back from a weekend in Barcelona, just two nights we stayed there and really crammed in everything we could. The first thing I'll say about Barcelona is man it's busy, going down Las Ramblas I actually thought it was as busy as Oxford Street in London, so so many tourists so I was so pleased when I... Probably my favourite attraction in Barcelona. Amazingly chilled. The front half of the catamaran is made up of net sections and the back half is solid fibre glass, theres a little bar onboard. Don't miss it.

I’m surprised to be the second to make a review of this great Barcelona’s experience. If you want to make a small cruise in Barcelona’s coast line, choose Orsom’s Catamaran. Laying in the boat’s net, feeling the warm sun on your body, the fresh sea breeze in your face… listening to some nice music played by a live performer… it’s... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
