Best day in Barcelona

It was so easy to just go in, rent a bike and then off I went on my own to cycle up the coast. They were so nice in the shop, and it was a bargain. Couldn't ask for more.

We enjoyed our bike tour of Barcelona. I don't remember the tour guide's name but he did an excellent job of showing us around the city. He gave us just enough information about the history of the city without overwhelming us and his English was good. He modified the tour for us since we told him we were going to... More

Barcelona by bike is a terrific experience. In a few hours you see a lot of this wonderful city. Beautyful buildings, beach, parks and a lot of opportunities to find a hidden and good restaurant. A lot of very good bycicle paths, too. I have rented bikes in other citys. Often there are som problems about payment and errors. This... More

This was an easy, cheap, and great way to see the city. It is a very bike friendly area, just watch the hills, you can speed really fast! We liked using Google to GPS our way places.

Very friendly people. One of the cheapest in Barcelona and bikes are in good condition. The bikes do only have a backlight. On the front there is only a reflector mounted. Maybe that is enough in Barcelona? Lights everywhere so no light needed.

I used them on 3 consecutive days with times ranging from 3- 5 hours a day. At €1.50 an hour it's great value. The bikes are ideal for zipping in and out of the tight lanes/ roads in the area and they are fitted with rear wheel locks as well as an additional u lock for the front. They are... More

The prices at Green Bikes are good, but that wasn't the reason why we booked a tour there. A friend recommended this place because of the good tours. And he couldn't be more right! We had a great tourgide (i believe his name was Stef) with a very good sense of humor. He knew a lot about the city and... More

Friendly staff and very competitive rates. I didn't do a tour just hired a bike for a couple of days, and its a great way of seeing the city. They give you a free map with all the main cycle routes on and its a very bike friendly city, unlike some like London where you feel you are taking your... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
