A very different way to see the beautiful city of Barcelona. Loved the whole experience with Pete and Kim giving us a wonderful historical insight along the way. The bikes and sidecars were awesome. Thoroughly recommend this 3 hour tour although I would do a longer tour next time.

I booked the tour for my 11 year old son and me. It was the perfect tour especially if you don't want to walk around. I was little apprehensive about the bike but it was safe and so much fun. Our guide Quim was informative and friendly. I definitely got a pretty good idea of where I wanted to go... More

We were picked up promptly at our hotel, in fact our tour guides were early. Pete and Kim were very knowledgeable of Barcelona and provided us with a lot of information as were rode around Barcelona in sidecars. We had cbosen the three hour tour which is perfect if you have a limited time. Were I to go again I... More

Give up the hop/on bus or a personal driver...go by bike. Brightside allows you to really see the city with the sights, sounds and smells in your face. You can stop where you'd like to see more or breeze through wonderful and unique views. Our guide Joaquin knew history, politics and the good places to drink beer. As I am... More

I did a 3 hour sidecar tour with Joaquim. He was friendly, interesting, patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about Barcelona and its history. The bike was clean, well maintained and comfortable. I highly recommend BrightSide and this tour. 100% recommend this tour. Our guides, Pete and Kim were extremely passionate about Barcelona and were able to give us lots of information on each location we visited. Not to mention pulling out a bottle of champagne as we overlooked the city. This was a unique, fun, exciting, informative, insightful and personable experience. BOOK IT!!

Our family (including 3 kids, ages 11, 10 & 8) took a 3 hour sidecar tour last week in Barcelona. We've visited a lot of cities and done numerous tours (ranging from walking to bus, and everything in between). This was by far the best. Relaxing, perfectly paced - it was a wonderful way to see the city). The kids... More

We did the sidecar tour on our very first afternoon in Barcelona with Pedro. He's a good looking, soft spoken chap and very friendly and thoughtful. We discussed the journey before hand so we knew what to expect. We took turns to ride behind as well as in the sidecar to have different perspective of the city. Pedro recommended some... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
