MONTSERRAT AND CAVA TOUR, Tour guide, David, was charming and went out of his way to give us additional information, such as restaurants we could visit later. He and the home office personnel went out of their way to help me get a coat that I left behind at the winery. Enrique was the tour guide for THREE COUNTRIES IN... More

Did 2 tours with this company during our stay in Barcelona. Skip the line full day and Wine and Cava day tour. The skip the line had some good elements, particularly enjoyed the walking tour through the Gothic, Jewish and Born sectors. There was no line to skip at the Familia Sagrada 😳 The visits to the Gaudi creations, Familia... More

Wish I had booked some more through them. I booked this tour through Viator (as I wasn't aware of Explore Catalunya's reputation). My family & I did the Dali tour (with our tour guide, Feliciano). This tour took us to Figures & Cadaques and we enjoyed it very much. Feliciano was enthusiastic & knew Dali's background and was able to... More

This was the best tour ever!! I have great things to say about this tour to the Salvador Dali Museum, Figures and Cadaques. As far as the logistics, when I went into the Explore Catalunya Office, my tour guide, Robert, was there and greeted me very warmly. Before I even left the office, I felt welcomed. We left on time... My friend and I went on the Pyrenees day trip. Our guide was Feliciano, and he was very warm and friendly. The first stop, Vic, was a complete waste of time, to me. There was no time to explore, and not really a lot to explore even if we had the time. We went on a market day - there... More

We went on the Girona and Costa Brava tour with Anna as our guide. I want to thank the office staff for their kindness and Anna for an incredibly informative and interesting day. So much was packed into the day and yet it never felt rushed. Also, if you want to see a master in parking then that person is... More

My wife and I did two tours with this this company and can not say enough good things about them. The office staff was helpful, friendly, and made everything easy. Our first tour was the half day Barcelona tour and it was everything we had hoped for. Small group, great sights, and an amazing tour guide (Jordi). We also did... More

We went on the Montserrat & Cava wine tour & it was one of the best days of our holiday. Montserrat is awesome & you get plenty of time to wonder about. The views are stunning. The monastery is beautiful & worth seeing the black madona even if you're not religious. In the afternoon we were taken to the Cordineu... More

Had booked 2 tours with this company and neither of them disappointed. We were absolutely amazed by the Monserrat and Cava trail tour which was to the Cordoniu winery. Our tour guide, Anna, was friendly, had lots of good tips and information about Montserrat and the trails. For our second tour, we did the Dali and Cadaques tour. Our tour... More

We booked this through viator prior to being in Barcelona. The tour advertises the Friexnet winery which I love and this is why I booked the tour. However we did not go to either Friexnet or Cordineu, we went to Pares Balta. I still enjoyed the tour but we were hoping to buy Friexnet for our new year celebrations in... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
