What a day! From our initial meeting through the cycling, the wine tasting, the lunch, I can honestly say it was a pleasure and a privilege. A pleasure because of the leisurely cycling through the beautiful working countryside, the wine tasting and wine education, the two hour Catalonia lunch, the historic insights to the region and it's people. A privilege... More

My friend and I took a tour with Paddy this November while we were visiting Barcelona, and honestly couldn't have been more impressed and pleased with the experience. Paddy immediately made us feel at home in the beautiful Penedes, and shared his wealth of knowledge about the area - and the wine and food produced there - with us without... More

The El Moli website was really comprehensive and all the information was clear and made all aspects of travel easy. We took the train from Catalunya station to Villafranca without any problems. We met Paddy who made our trip extremely enjoyable! He was a great guide who enlightened us to the treats of Penedes. Lunch at Sant Jordi was fantastic,... More

If you are in the Barcelona or Penedes region then you must put this on your 'to do' list. Paddy is a superb host who knows the area, the wineries and the wines. We cycled through the area with Paddy's guidance and had an unforgettable day. Paddy really looked after us and ensured we got the most from our day.... More

We had a really enjoyable and fun day cycling at our own pace along the back roads of Penedes. Paddy set us up so we could do our own thing but gave us lots of tips and recommendations to guide us. I'd highly recommend this tour for a taste of this very pretty, relaxed and friendly area. thanks Paddy!!

This was an excellent wine/cava tour and must do if you are in the region! Paddy is a great guide (and storyteller!). The wineries visited are good (with defintely a standout few) and cycling is not too demanding. There is even a cheeky visit to a small olive oil factory to see an old stone press. Overall I would highly... More

I have more than a passing interest in wine, and I love getting to know as much about an area and its wines anywhere I go. Long time resident, wine fiend and expert host Paddy of El Moli was the perfect choice for our introduction to the Penedès region and its wines. We picked up the rodalies commuter train from... More

It is like having a friend or a relative take you through the Penedes into a one of a kind wine tasting experience!!! He is well regarded by the locals and knows the password into each of the cellars in the region. He is very relaxed and will mold to your best interest. The lunch was spectacular! He is very... More

took a 1-day bike tour that took us to 2 wineries and a delicious lunch in a village restaurant. we rode through beautiful landscapes and met charming winery people and tasted small-production cavas and red wine absolutely delicious. Do this tour if you're looking for a full day of soaking in the Penedes elements: the sun, blue sky, the earth,... More

What a fantastic day Vicky and I had with Paddy! We took the Penedes wine tour and it was probably the highlight of our birthday trip for Vicky to Barcelona. We took the train (Renfe) from Barcelona out to Vilafranca de Penedes (about an hour, 8 Euros) and we met Paddy at a bar/cafe just outside the station to the... More
