Description: Spanish Trails was born in 2001 as one of the first small group (max. 8...
Spanish Trails was born in 2001 as one of the first small group (max. 8 pers.) day tour companies and incoming travel agencies to experience the best of what Barcelona and all of Catalunya, Spain have to offer. Our year-round, regularly scheduled day tours are all-inclusive fully guided all day experiences, though guests are more than welcome to explore on their own. We cover the corners of Catalunya including the Costa Brava, Pyrenees, Girona, Montserrat and Penedes and Priorat wine regions, as well as half and full day Barcelona city tours and food & wine tours. We also specialize in customized family tours, private touring and small group events. We use comfortable touring vans and our staff are fun, experienced local guides with a deep love and knowledge of the regional history and culture. Average group size in 2011 was 5 clients/tour and we have now proudly served over 13,000 clients over the last 12 years. See you soon! The Spanish Trails team.

My husband and I along with my sister and brother-in-law did two amazing tours with Spanish Trails. The first tour we did on the morning after our late evening arrival. We did the shared Old Quarter Barcelona walking tour with Felippo. I originally contacted Tracy at Spanish Trails to ask some questions about this walk and express some concerns about... More

We were a group of eight people taking this tour with Daniel. I have to say, Daniel is a wealth of knowledge and personality! Best.Tour.Guide.Ever. and it was easy to work with Spanish Trails. Loved Girona and would like to go back some time. Daniel was very courteous and considerate of one person walking with a cane who wasn't as... More

While this was a good day, it was not a great day! There was not enough to see and do to fill a full day. The monastery was certainly interesting and worthy of a visit, and the surroundings beautiful. We ate lunch in the town of Monistrol, about 15 minutes from the monastery (and not in the vineyards like, for... More

The tour was excellent and informative with our guide Andrew. The vehicle was clean and modern and the all day tour was good value which included a long walk at Montserrat followed by lunch in a local restaurant and then finishing with a visit to a winery.

We were a small group of 5 of us and the tour was very interesting. A lot of history of food, the city and restaurants. The first restaurant we went to was fantastic, very authentic cuisine, the second was not up my alley, too grungy for my liking and the third place again was a hit. Last but not least,... More

I did the Monserrat and Winery Tour in a group of four adults we had a fantastic day out with Andrew as our tour guide. He is extremely knowledgable and had a great sense of humour which added to the enjoyment. Bottled still water was provided throughout the day. The lunch at the winery was delicious, not really a four... More

My friend and I were in Barcelona for a week, and wanted to have a day trip out of the city. This tour was a fantastic choice! The medieval village we passed through was incredibly beautiful, with stone houses and flowers blooming--it was a wonderful sight against the backdrop of the Pyrenees. The hike itself was slightly taxing, but each... More

My 25 year old daughter and I booked this trip just a few days prior. It was initially not available and another tour was suggested that we weren't interested in. Danny immediately responded that he would see if he could work it out. We were able to do the tour with just the two of us and Albert, the tour... More

We completed both the All Things Dali and Montserrat/Winery tour with Andrew and we couldn't be more pleased. He was extremely welcoming, outgoing, and a wealth of knowledge. We came back extremely educated about Dali's life. I can't imagine touring the house and museum without Andrew's assistance. The same goes for Montserrat. The host at the winery was lovely and... My husband and I spent 4 days in July touring Catalonia with Spanish Day Trails. It was simply fantastic! Tracy put together a fabulous experience for us. We were picked up in Barcelona to start our trip. We wanted to focus on wines of the area and each day we visited 2 or 3 gorgeous wineries, often visiting with the... More
