Our Spanish Trails Trip was one of the highlights of being in Barcelona. Our guide, Dan, was incredible. On the way out to wine country, he gave us a history of the region, which was great information. The trip itself was the best. We go to Sonoma often, since my brother lives there, but this was by far, the best... More

When in Barcelona, a day trip with Spanish Trails for their medieval mountain village tour is a must. Our guide was Viktor who was super friendly, knowledgable, and delightful. The first stop for breakfast was filled with new taste treats of pastries, cheeses and sausages was explained by Viktor and was in a small bakery/cafe in a 16th century village.... More

We arranged all of our transportation in Barcelona through Spanish Trails and they made our trip a wonderful experience. They picked up our group of 8 with all our luggage at the airport in a private minivan and transported us to our rental apartment in Barcelona. They picked us up at our apartment and took us on a city tour... More

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Viktor, our guide was animated and very knowledgeable. After an 1 1/2 drive into the mountains, we arrived at the village. Our first stop upon arrival was breakfast. We walked into a bar/ bakery/meeting spot. Multi generational families enjoying a coffee. The aroma of baked goods as you entered caused... More

My husband and I took the Costa Brava and Girona tour late last month with Dan. We were traveling with 2 nice couples and an excellent tour guide. We 1st toured 2 seaside villages with amazing scenery and were able to walk between the 2 towns along a seaside trail. We then visited a medieval village named Pals and Dan... More

I would give this 3.5 actually. Montserrat was beautiful. I have written a separate review of Montserrat as a place to visit. The Spanish Trails operation seems like a good one. They get you up there and in to see the Black Madonna before the throng of the crowds. Then off for a ride down the funicular and a hike... More

Hi! Our guide, Aurora, was very cool and professional. We had a great time while learning lost of stuff s from a truly Barceloneca (euh! oups not sure how to spell it), meaning a person born and living here. The choice of the itinerary and the great places she selected was nice and lovely. I would do it again and... More

We meet our english speaking guide John - who was from Colarado. He was very easy going, friendly and informative. He put us at ease right away and made us feel as if we were old friends. We enjoyed our day so much, we hav'nt stop talking about it! Monserrat was breath taking, our lunch at a local off the... More

We were so pleased that we decided to do the day trip to Figueres for the Dali museum and Girona. Saskia, was a lovely guide. She kept a running commentary en route to Figueres to give us a heads up as to what we would expect at the museum, and pointing out sights along the way. The museum was like... More

We just got back from a glorious week in Barcelona, and the highlight of the trip was the Spanish Trails Food and Wine Tour , led by Danny Adler ! His choice of 5 restaurants was excellent , made by a pro who really loves finding the very best food. He very thoughtfully planned the menus with the chefs, and... More
