looks more like a church than a functional hospital, in any direction. the mosiacs, the fountains, the crosses... although visitors are not turned away, do aware that it is still running and don't get in the way of the staff. The Sagrada Familia can be seen directly from the church, and is a 5 minute walk away. more

Of all the great buildings in Barcelona, I would say this is my favorite. Actually it's many buildings. I highly recommend stopping by the hospital. It's about a block from the subway stop. more
