The park and all facets of Antoine Gaudi's works are fascinating and worth the tours if you are into the works he did incorporating the beauty of nature and the naturalness of using the trees, earth and flora and fauna of the area. I loved this park.

My husband Jerry, I and our daughter arrived in Barcelona on Jan 2, 2015. We had a referral from a friend of ours to do the Barcelona Sightseeing tours. We did the tour on Jan 3, 2015 and our guide Laura was outstanding. We enjoyed our day sightseeing around Barcelona and learning all the historyof Barcelona from Laura. The highlight... More

Having taken the tourist bus around the city, I decided to walk around and the centre of Barcelona. This is a wonderful way of seeing the the old city. It seems to have been constructed in squares along the major roads. Each residential or business square had its own shopping centre, restaurants and bars. Such walks enable you to discover... More

Great and convenient way to see the city. Very helpful if you only have a short amount of time in the city as it covers all the essential and most sought after tourist destinations/sites in barcelona. Good value for money and would recommend doing it

We were planning to take the train up by ourselves, but slept in and woke up at 12:30pm. Our hotel had a brochure on this tour, so we booked through the hotel, as it started at 3PM. It was a Friday afternoon, were not many folks on the tour, had a great guide. By the time we got up to... More

Nuria Bargallo was our guide and she was one of the most outstanding we have ever had on tour anywhere. Not only did she educate us about Monserrat, but also the Catalan Culture, Spanish politics, and daily life. She was always entertaining and responsive and pleasant. She went out of her way to help us take the funicular to the... More

We picked this 3.5 hour tour so we could have a guide, and so we would minimize our walking between the sights. Laura was our guide, and she was WONDERFUL! She was very passionate about Gaudi, and about Barcelona. Her English was terrific! The tour seems a little pricey until you take into account that the tickets for Sagrada Familia... More

We used BGB for our Codorniu-Montserrat and Sagrada Familia tours. Tours were on time, buses were comfortable. Oliver, our guide for the Codorniu-Montserrat tour, was very knowledgeable, fun and funny. Moriana, our guide for Sagrada Familia was similarly very knowledgeable and very warm and kind. Jordi, our bus driver for both tours, was friendly. We were impressed with his driving... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
