This was an excellent tour--lead by a native who really knew his stuff about Gaudi. It's worth it just to skip the ticket lines at the various Gaudi sites (we did Park Guell on our own), but the real value here is getting such an informative and friendly tour guide who could tell us not just about Gaudi, but about... We enjoyed the tour but would have liked to stop for pictures and the Arch DE Triumph and some other key water front buildings that were pretty. We went to a replica of a Spanish village that had been made for a previous Olympics. It was pretty and nice but we wanted to see the city. The second part out... More

The wine tour alone was worth the price the tour includes two small train rides one in the cellars 30 Kilometers of underground wine cellars with genuine antique wine making equipment and the wine tasting gives you two full glasses of cava. The Montserrat mountain is a must visit just for the ride up the mountain

Very good tour to take to have an overview of Barcelona. The attractions of the city are spread out around the city and this tour helped us decide on specific attractions we wanted to see during our limited time in the city. We had a very considerate guide who did his best to ensure all our questions were answered. Great... More

This was an excellent choice for a half day tour for our last day in Barcelona. I selected this tour as I did not want to travel on a van/coach and the train brought us quicker to the destination. We were promptly met in the lobby of our hotel by a paid taxi driver and delivered to the Barcelona train... More

Well organised tour with a good guide who was very knowledgable about Gaudi and Barcelona generally. Worth it just for the Sagrada Familia but the little add ons were fun too.

Booked the 2.5 hour Sagrada Familia tour last minute and learned so much with Noemi. She presented an intelligent and well paced tour that pointed out highlights and important facts that we would not have known had we just visited the site on our own. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked 2 other tours (Monserrat and the Evening... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
