We did 2 tours-- Gothic/Picasso Museum and Gaudi. The guides were terrific; Monica, who led us to the Gaudi sites, was VERY knowledgable and Oliver, who took us to the Gothic Quarter and Picasso Museum was very entertaining and knew his stuff. Highly recommended!

We decided to book this tour as we would be back in Barcelona by 1.30pm and all other tours to the Dali museum took a whole day. We were picked up by taxi from our hotel at 7.30am and taken to the train station where we were met by a representative of the company who made sure we boarded the... More

We liked our tour guide and the tour very much. The site was beautiful, tho not old. Though Montserrat dates back to the 11th century, the original site was destroyed by Napoleon then later rebuilt. The black madonna was not original.

We did the combined Montseratt and Codorniu Wine Cellars tour in the morning and the Sagrada Familia Tour in the afternoon. Can highly recommend the Codorniu Wine Cellars tour. We felt the group was too large for the Sagrada tour. A better option would be to do the morning tour or a private tour. Great value with a good tour... More

Our guide was Laura, and she was wonderful. The headsets and receptors made it easy to hear everything at the Casa Batlló and the crowded Sagrada Familia. She was enthusiastic and made the tour very enjoyable. The bus was comfortable and cool on a very hot day. The speakers in the bus were very clear and easy to understand, so... More

While in Barcelona for 2 weeks, I took 5 tours with this company and 2 with different companies. The tours I took were The Magic Fountain Night Tour, The Gaudi Tour, The Dali Museum Tour, Picasso Museum & Gothic Quarter Walking Tour, and Montserrat & Codorníu Wine Cellars Tour. I thoroughly enjoyed them all! Comparing this company to others, I... More

**Booking Experience** We easily, safely and securely booked a 3-person private walking tour (2-half days, 4 hours each day) online directly through BGB – www.barcelonaguidebureau.com . Clara Callis provided superb customer service (before, during and after the visit), helping us to create a custom itinerary based on our desires. We appreciated the prompt and helpful response each time we had... More

Our guide was friendly and thorough in his explanations of the history behind Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia, the two main sites we visited. Our guide had many anecdotes about Gaudi and drew our attention to interesting details of each place. We received small headsets which made it easy to hear him and follow the tour. He also placed Gaudi... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
