On an impulse booked online at 530am a tour of 2 of Barcelona's most interesting attractions & I was on the tour bus by 830am to see the Gordionu winery & Montserrat monastery. Our guide, Aida & driver, Peter, took care of everything & trip went off without a hitch. Aida was full of very useful tips on what to... More

The tour was well planned and organized at a very convenient location. We began with the tour of La Sagrada Familia with Aida. She provided us with an excellent history of the basilica, Gaudi and his life as well as pointing out the essential interpretation of his architecture. We had some free time at La Sagrada Familia before heading out... More

On time , informative ( a little too chatty ) on the bus . Guide was helpful. Bus was comfortable. Tour was centrally located in Barcelona. It wasn't to crowed . Took major credit cards . Guide was helpful with insight to Dali Museum, then left us alone to explore. My wife and I would difinitely take this tour again.

Nice 4 hour round trip from Barcelona in the afternoon. Guide, driver and bus were top notch. We were given more than enough info from beginning to end.

She is native born, raised and living in Barcelona. Her knowledge of Picasso and the walking tour was more then impressive. We are signed up for the Dali Museum with her... More

Make it easy on yourself- skip the lines and enjoy the earbud guided tour! The audio system worked very well. The guide spoke very good English, and was well informed. The bus is convenient, and the tour ends at SF, and you may stay to linger if desired.

The tour guide was nice and professional, the tour was ok. The good thing about this tour is that you get the transportation and you do not have to be on line to get the tickets to see the inside of the Sagrada Familia. You only drive by Casa Batllo and Casa Milla, hard to take pictures from inside the... More

The Barcelona Guide Bureau day tours have two options. Option 1 is the city tour ending with the Sagrada Familia and the Option 2 continues to a Spanish town replica where you can roam, shop and have lunch. What I liked was the knowledge of our guide "Natalie" while she explained the origins of Sagrada Familia and the story and... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
