Stayed at hotel along the river from Burgos centre (Hotel Campus Tavern) and in the evening took the riverside path through the Parque de Isla to historic Burgos centre. Beautiful paseo with fountains and artifacts enroute.

If you've had your fill of old buildings and churches, take a nice walk through the park to refresh yourself. If you walk along the river, you are far away from traffic and can hear the sound of the rushing water. Lovely that Burgos set aside this much land for an urban park...

Average park by the river. Probably nicer in the spring and summer. I went here because of the great trip advisor rating, but this place definitely wasn't anything special.

The museum its a must. Very well structured and it is mandatory for all people that has, at least, curiosity about human evolution.

The river park is one of the unique things of Burgos. It is a soothing respite in the city. There are all sorts of amazing things to find along the way and some great photography and people watching.

My children were the first to spot the playground at the park and declared it fun, and it was...with castle theme playground equipment, that cater for the very little to older kids. Very colourful, imaginative and appealing. Pathways for a leisurely stroll, jogs and cycling. Interesting sculptures and statues and beautiful tree-lined walkways. A very elegant park, truly envious of... More

very well done, along the river this parc, which combines various elements (like an open air fitness, library, play ground for children, botanical garden...)
