One of the great cathedrals of Spain

A magnificent cathedral with very interesting interiors. The audioguide gave a very good explanation of all the important features in the interior of the cathedral.

Very good audio tour and very good value for €7. Students pay €4.50. This includes entrance fee and audio. The only quibble with the tour is that many church architecture terms were used that might have been more completely explained. And a little colour commentary would have been fun. Still, overall, very good audio for an important and beautiful place.

A must visit when in Burgos. The Cathedral is a wonderful representation of gothic style Cathedrals. It is Hugh and takes some time to visit

A wonderful building to marvel from the outside. Inside was another storey as it is cluttered with rooms and was more like a museum than a church. Thought the audio commentary contained too much information.

What a stunning Cathedral, I have seen many that have been raved about and though not disappointed they just did not come up to the hype. We were walking the Camino and had a rest day in Burgos and believe me two nights was wonderful as it allowed us to really see the Cathedral. We walked around the outside and... More

Breathtaking building inside and out. Fantastic value at €7 each which includes an excellent audio guide. It is vast, chapel after chapel of the most amazing craftsmanship, just as you think you have seen it all you enter another amazing space full of the most exquisite art, sculpture, carvings etc. you have ever seen. There is so much to see... More

Quite simply this is one of the best Gothic cathedrals in Europe. I have given lesser cathedrals 5 *; this should have 6. It is hugely impressive from outside, its fine towers popping up between the buildings, but never revealing its full glory in one go. The story continues inside. It is very large, but you can never take it... More
