Beautiful cathedral but the audio guided tour is definitely too much. For each point you choose a number and then a voice starts to tell you more about it. But it definitely talks too much. About 10 mins each time. It takes more than 2 hours for a visit.

Extremely impressive cathedral which is absolutely worthwhile a detour. Richly ornamented wood carvings all around the cathedral and impressive massive silver wagon in front of impressive staircase.

Burgos Cathedral is stunning. I really suggest you take the audio guide and a couple of hours for the visit (at least). Entrance free on Tuesdays afternoon

We decided to stop in Burgos on a friend's recommendation on the drive between Madrid and Bilbao and we're glad we did. This cathedral is magnificent and a UNESCO World Site to boot.

This one we liked most. Above Leon, Asturga, Santiago and many others. Use the audio guide and enjoy the wealth and splendor of centuries passing by. Very well maintained impressive cathedral!

A magnificent sample of gothic architecture, a visit to the Cathedral ia a must for anyone visiting this area of Spain. Besides visiting the Condestable Chapel and the tomb of "Mio Cid" make sure you are inside, by the main doors "puerta de Santa María" just before midday; and look up as the clock strikes 12 you can see the... The self guided audio tour was fantastic. I enjoyed it with my 7 year old. He and my 4 year old daughter loved the Papamoscas, a quirky clock that chimes every 15 minutes. All of the chapels in the cathedral are beautiful.

Fantastic piece of gothic architecture. I couldn't go inside but the exterior is on his own a must see. Looking forward to visiting inside next time I'm in Burgos.
