The cathedral is amazing - highly recommended to anyone visiting Toledo. Tics are sold across the street and ticket price includes audio guide. Very good explanation of things in the Cathedral and a bit of the history. The climb to the tower is a let down (in my personal opinion). Not worth the Eur 3 additional cost. Can't see much... More

The building is huge and grandly decorated. It is worth an hour, perhaps a bit more if you are an aficianado of either Catholicism, gothic architecture or this specific building.

You know you are going to be impressed by the sheer scale of the place from the outside. Inside is magnificent and a joy to behold, although the intrusive groups are probably more of a problem if you arrive in season.

When we were last in Toledo, the altar was closed for cleaning. This time the entire cathedral was open for viewing, and what a place! The 8 Euro admission includes an audio guide which was informative and entertaining. This is truly a "don't miss" when visiting Toledo!

Definitely go inside! We didn't pay to go in, but instead went in through a side door to pray. You don't get to see the whole Cathedral this way, but it was still a beautiful experience.

It is huge ! It was €8 each which included audio guide you just have to leave an id card which you get back when you return it. Luckily when we visited it wasn't too busy so we got to see everything we wanted easily I imagine in peak season you won't. The treasury was a small room so will... More

So many surprises! I did not study before entering this huge cathedral so what a delight to "discover" so many treasures; from the alter piece to the transparente and stained glass windows, to the sections with papal portraits & robes from the 14th century, and the sacristy filled with masterpiece paintings by El Greco, Goya, Titian, Velasquez and others. I... More

This may be one of my most favorite cathedrals I've ever seen. The alter was stunning and I liked the chapel with the cardinals or Toledo painted on the walls. Definitely a must see in Toledo
