The old city Toledo is the most amazing places I visited during my stay there in 2013 ,there are a lot of old buildings, museums and people are very friendly, but the Cathedral of Toledo is the best place there,if you travel to Toledo you must visit it.I can say that I watched The Sacristy for almost half an hour ,and there... This is a perfect example of man trying to connect with God. Architecture is amazing, the sheer size is awe-inspiring. Give yourself some time and, if you can, climb the tower. Our entry fee also covered other sites. Great food and shopping nearby so don't sweat where to go after the experience. Try the local food, especially mazapan. Enjoy Toledo!

Being a non religious person I went to look at the fabric of the building, the artwork and the glorious craftsmanship. Churches are built to the glory of god but for me they represent the glory of the craftsman. Yes you can argue that god gave the skills, but if you go back to the ancient work of Ur which... More

Allow at least 4 hours to really appreciate your visit. It's stunning inside and shouldn't be rushed!

Beautiful cathedral and we got admission that covered all of the varying religious sites there. I recommend you take time to view this attraction and if you can climb the steps up to tower. Great view of Toledo . I'm glad we visited the city on way back to Madrid . It is about an hours drive back into Madrid... More

This place of worship is amazing, there is so much art, the ceilings are beautifully decorated, I got a stiff neck. The admission charge is reasonable, considering the articulate audio tour that comes with the admission fee. It is also lovely to cool off in the cool interior. Give yourself plenty of time, definitely worth a visit

Huge. Impressive in the 21st century so goodness knows what they thought back then. Lots of interesting features that were explained by our guide (before he rushed off to the next bus). Take your time and stroll around the cloister, which is far cooler than the oppressive heat inside the cathedral and some of the rooms.

Don't miss it. I've seen many cathedrals but this was the most impressive. The architecture, the decoration, the history. Breathtaking.

This is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen (so far in my life). The interior is awesome, very ornate and beautifully structured. The high altar is finely sculpted with so much gold leaf that it seems to glow. There is also a gorgeous skylight. Don't miss it. I was amazed by the size of the cathedral. We had... More
