One of the most beautiful cities one could ever visit. Amazing sun rises and sun sets. Live the hills and valleys if thus ancient city. The Jewish quarter was fascinating as is the history of this oldest city in Spain. We only had 3 days here but will definitely be back.

This is an amazing view of the city. Cannot miss it. Take the tourist train (they make the special stop for the pictures) or walk one of the bridges across. It is spectacular view,

This was a cool building but also a tourist Info booth is located here. Sitting on a beautiful plaza with a contempory art piece by Cristina Iglesias, "Tres Aguas" in front and the cathedral across the way, the square is a good place to stop, get info and snap a few photos. Very helpful people in the info booth.

The “Ayuntamiento” de Toledo or “City Hal of Toledo” is situated in front of the main portal of Toledo Cathedral. The construction of the city hall began in 1575 this according to the design made by Juan Herrera. Jorge Manuel Theotocópulos had completed the upper floors. The construction was only accomplished into the 17th century. You will find the “Oficina... More

Travelling with friends we all agreed that sitting on the terrace of the Parador looking at Toledo was an experience we would not forget. The river wrapped round the City walls and the dramatic skyline is breath taking. For the lovers of history the City is a must visit but if you have difficulty walking or with mobility stay on... I was absolutely 'blown away' by the grandeur and beautiful, yet subdued, colours of the architecture of Toledo. The panorama is one of the best I have seen anywhere!

The plaza is full of kids and couples in the evening ... Lots of people watching ... But the cathedral is spectacularly lighted as well, presenting a great view.

I was born in Toledo and it was a very special experience to be married there. Besides from that the Ayntamiento is spectacular! We were married in Carlos V´s room. The furniture and tapestries are original XV Century. There are beautiful reliefs on the ceiling and a satue of the Virgin Mary. Going into the old part of the building... More
