Brilliant beach

Wide expanse of golden sand with a view of the mountains beyond(Picos de Europa). We went at low tide when there are interesting rock pools to explore. Take your own shade.

This is a nice beach, where it is also safe with children. There are also waves, but less than at the Sardinero beach. This beach is also a bit closer to the centre of Santander.

A broad sweeping beach stretching for around 2 miles (with plenty of watering holes along the way)There is a lot of Harbour movement and from small craft to much larger Car ferries. Many people who visit are arriving on the ferries but immediately drive away to their ultimate destination but it's worth spending a day here even if it means... More

This area was just fantastic. The whole beach was just spotless and was just wonderful to stroll along the waters edge in soft golden sand. Clear water and just a little part of Heaven in Santander. The whole area was immaculate and has a wonderful decking style walkway so great for prams and buggies. Would not recommend tho the cafe... More

The locals were jumping off the end of the pier and the view is great. My son even jumped in after a while.

Very nice beach, soft sand close to the opening of the bay. At the far end, there is a beautiful lagoon where you can climb the rocks and take some great pictures. It was my favorite beach in the area.
