The beach is golden brown and the sea is a beautiful turquoise colour. If you are a swimmer, surfer or sun worshiper then this place could be just for you. However due to the steps it is not advisable to venture down if you have limited walking ability. If you are prudish then beware, although the majority of people we... More

Reputedly the best beach in Cantabria. Lovely golden sand, very natural, no chiringuitos or facilities in sight, loads of space and few people so nice. We really liked it, however, don't think this is the best; that title goes to Playa de Bellerin in my opinion - best kept secret of Cantabria!

What a wonderful beach Langre is....remote from the busy beaches around Santander Bay, beautiful to look at, clear water which was really quite warm in late June and good parking. Langre Beach is not supervised by lifeguards and there are no toilet facilities however it is worth going just for the fact that you will get a space to yourself... More

Leave the CA141 at Loredo or Galizano and take back road to Langre then follow beach (playa) signs to cliff top car park to be treated to an unspoiled terrific view of this beautiful Cantabrian bay. Lots of steps down from car park to beach but manageable for families and the abundant surfers enjoying rolling breakers. Virtually no on site... More

Definitely the nicest beach I have ever seen in Europe, unspoilt and not overly crowded , you have a choice of the smaller beach or the larger one (which is more busier). It does get quite wavey , which I thought added to the fun, me and my bf were dodging the waves. However do bring some food with you,... More

I had read it was one of the most beautiful beaches in Cantabria and it was true. The walk to the beach from the parking prairie is beautiful and after lunch, thanks to he cliff above you, there's an area in the shade which is ideal for a beach siesta! There's no 3G there so switch off your smartphones!

If you want to see what a northern Spain beach is, please, visit it. It's just amazing, beautiful. If you also like surfing, it's one of the main beaches to do it. There is not places around to have lunch so take a sandwich with you and enjoy the day. It's easy to access, no need to climb any rock.... More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Spain. Breathtakingly beautiful. Older people may have some difficulty accessing this beach because you must walk a lot of stairs.
