The beach is clean and very well looked after and the views are excellent of the surrouding coastline, there is a pleasant wooded park just behind the beach so no overlooking hotels.

We went to see the Playa del Sardinero and enjoyed walking along the paved sidewalk that goes along the beach. The beach is beautiful and has plenty of sand on it. There are restaurants and cafeterias across the street where one can take some refreshment.

I arrived just in time to enjoy the Sunset. Had a nice walk along the promenade. In the morning I went walking and swimming in the beach. Wonderful views from inside the water of the city. Clean beach and smiling people. It seems that it is true that the unhappy people are the big city people. Visit. Walk. Swim. Enjoy.

This is a lovely spot - right in the town and full of happy people. It's a delight to see families playing ball sports and having fun.

We were there in March, so we didn't actually stay much by the beach. But the beach was clean, the sand seemed fine and the water clean too. And the view from the main road onto the Sardinero beach is beautiful

what a beautiful beach. Thoroughly enjoyed a walk along it even though it was autumn. There were quite a lot of people on the sands and wetsuited surfers in the waters waiting for the big wave.Fab views.

Full of well kept gardens, you can reach the beach from the street level and enjoy the beautiful water, soft sand and sunbathing.

Yes, you should go there. A nice beach and not so crowded for the Spanish standard during the summer. A good option is to rent a bike and ride along the cycleway around the coast. You can do it even in the Municipality service with a credit card.
