We went by coach leaving about 5pm after collecting more people we then started our journey. It was amazing scenery as we started to climb. We stopped off at a restaurant for a very nice meal, where wine was also made, then we climbed aboard the coach again. We were above the clouds and it was breathtaking. As the evening... More

Me and my partner are in our 20s and we found the Teide to be extremely beautiful! We went here on a half day trip which cost 20 euros each! We then found half day trips to be cheaper if brought from playa de las Americas! We were picked up on time from our hotel at 9am on an air... More

Very interesting to see and find out about the history of the island/park, especially if you have a good guide.

I got there from La Laguna, and the trip was also nice, with a lot of viewing spots on the road where you can stop by and take pictures with El Teide. Most of the time you will find yourself higher than some cloud, which is pretty amaising. At some point you will find a crossroad with a nice restaurant,... More

The altitude is really high so if you have breathing difficulties be careful :) to go to the summit you have to get a license thingy. you can apply online and... More

This was a great 1/2 day trip. Went up to the top of the mountain on the cable car. Was very cold and windy at the top, but well worth it.

The day I climbed on Teide Mountain was definitely the best in Tenerife. I rented a car, left it on Montana Mostaza where we started climbing. The landscape was incredible, I felt like being on another planet, with all kind of volcanic rocks and specific vegetation. The hiking started from around 2100m altitude till 3555m where the telecabin was. The... More

This is a spectacular place to visit. As we drove up the mountain road out of Santa Cruz we were afforded views of the island with the clouds below us and the volcano (Mt. Teide, the highest point in Spain) and surrounding area in clear blue sky. There are pull-offs along the route enabling you to get great photographs. Also... More
