We visited Loro Parque with our two children. It's a beautiful park, with various animals, monkeys, killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, sharks, parrots etc etc. The shows with the killer whales, dolphins etc are fantastic and the park itself is very well-managed. We went across from gran canaria to tenerife to visit this animal park it was amazing I loved the dolphin, whale and bird show. I would recommend that you visit this park it is the best park i have ever visited. more

I went here while on holiday with friends and really enjoyed it. As some people said it is similar to the zoo in terms of some of the animals, however the best bits were the things you aren't likely to see at most zoo's - dolphins, whales and sea lions. I had a really good day out here and saw some amazing things. The shows are unmissable - we saw the sea lions, whales and dolphins, but couldn't fit in the birds, which was really disappointing. Definitely get to the shows early to get a seat as they do fill up fast. The wait for the whale show was broken... more

Loro Parque was a good place to go to. I would say it is like an average zoo. It isn't fantastic but it isn't terrible. I would recommend this zoo to a friend. more

Second best attraction on Tenerife (Teide is the best). Get there as the park opens to avoid the queues at the entrance. This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! Its not like a normal zoo, its hidden away and as you walk around the paths its like walking through a jungle, its so exotic and beautiful.
