Abaco is a period Canarian mansion, privately owned, but open to the public. The mansion itself is interesting with intricate woodwork inside and out, but the inside furniture and décor is not overly sympathetic to the period when the house was constructed. Outside there is the opportunity to see a short Spanish horse show while the house itself also houses... More

We were guided round this historical house which also houses a fine dining restaurant. You can also experience flamenco dancing after dinner as well as classical evenings. The house is full of character. Beautiful gardens as well as a display by two spanish horses who danced to music, followed by a glass of sangria in the gardens. A number of... More

Went to Abaco for cocktails & a meal. The house & gardens are beautiful. You can sit & watch the sun set over Puerto de la Cruz & the ocean from the new terrace. The cocktails are delicious & served in beautiful, ornate glasses. The food was very good (particularly the rabbit & the fish). Prices are very reasonable. Cocktails... More

We had been looking forward to having cocktails here as it was recommended to us. What a big big mistake that turned out.. The service was poor to say the least ! The gardens are nice however you can't hear yourself think never mind talk with the constant very loud croaking of millions of frogs, yuk. Now the reason we... More

How good to find a restaurant with everything! Great food, lovely setting and good staff. It was a pleasure to be there. We often come for the classical concerts in the Winter but now we can come for the food too!

A beautiful old Canarian house with lovely gardens and ornate interiors - museum by day, swanky cocktail bar and restaurant by night. It is a little hard to find, but follow the signposts up the hill and just keep going straight on - the house is on the left just past some residential estates. We went at around 9pm for... More

We went to Abaco first in the daytime to walk round the house which is a renovated and period decorated Canarian mansion. The house itself is amazing and its great to look round at the period furniture and art work. They also have stunning gardens outside where you can see a traditional Canarian folk music and dancing show. This is a beautifully restored Canarian mansion house in well kept grounds. We went primarily to see the Canarian folk music display but the house itself was much more interesting than we anticipated. The ladies who showed us around were really friendly and helpful and the house is beautifully decorated. When we arrived we were given drinks and a book... More

A beautiful place with atmosphere. A place to stay for a drink in the garden, or in a consert in the evening-sundays. Coctailbar with nice drink and good service.
