Beautiful beach, although the sand is black as on all beaches on Teneriffe, because of its volcanic origin.

I like there. Especially the last part where is only sand and good condition with toilet and shower. The last part is the smaller from the end... playa chica. Normally is used by locals but there is the best place to stay.

I like this beach because of huge waves and nice black sand. We had so much fun there. The sunbed is for 3 EUR and parasole for 2,50 EUR.

Very special beach, beautifully planted and abundant in green lizzards basking in the shade of the beautiful trees and flowers. When we were there, there were quite big waves, my daughter wanted to spend all the time in the sea. Lots of places to eat/get refreshments.

Some people find the gritty volcanic sand a bit uncomfortable but this beach is worth a visit. It is not a long walk alone the coast from the Port but it is quicker to go up to the main road past the Bus Station and then down the dual carriageway past the Cemetery to the eastern end of the beach.... Playa Jardin is ideally located near the Loro Parque, so quite convenient if you want to experience both during the same day. Like the rest of the beaches in this volcanic area, the sand is black. There are many amenities, and while there you can have food and refreshments at the on-site bars and restaurants and also access to well... More
