I found Lago Martianez via good old tripadvisor and having seen pictures/reviews, decided it was one of the must do's for our holiday. €5.50 per adult (albeit, you will have to pay if you want a sunbed/umbrella) gets you in all day from 10AM to 5PM. The water was pretty cold when we went, but I should imagine as the... More

Great value - recommend you get an umbrella at the entrance (3 euros or so more, only about 10 euro in total for one person) just in case - was great value though for four or five hours here. Food and drink good value too, and plenty of space to sun bathe even at the weekend. Nice swimming in the... More

........... but quite like to swim in salt water then this is the place for you. 5.50 euros for the day entrance fee for an adult which includes a sunbed and mattress but not an umbrella (I think that was a further 3 euros). But there are places you can locate yourself that has the natural shade of the trees... More

The pools are very big and clean. The architecture is very nice. There are mostly older people inside but they also offer a children's play pool/area.

The Lago has been designed and landscaped sensitively. It is clean and has very large pools, not heated! Could be a little expensive for a family or for frequent visits.

Cold water in pools in February, but nice big pools. Good space even if it is a lot of people. The food is not to great, but there is a lot of eating places near by(cafe paris is nice)

A really great place, lots of beds and a range of pools with e Atlantic surf as a backdrop? There are a range of food places and if the weather is good you can easily spend a whole day here

This is such a lovely peaceful and well maintained pool/bathing park. It is salt water pools but thats ok, we just love it here. Going back to tenerife again in march and this will be one of our most frequented places. its really cheap to get in, place is spotless and always sun beds. worth a lazy day out.

We stayed in the Valle Mar and cheekily they must have taken photos from the Lago to make the hotel look impressive ... we were duped I must admit! We loved the Lago and spent most of our days there ... plenty of comfy Sunbeds, plenty of room not laid within inches of the next sun worshipper, very clean, immaculately... More
