This is an interesting place surrounded by grape vines for wine. The service was exceptional. A visit to the courtyard is interesting and my experience included a reception that was very appropriately service with fantastic sparking wine and wonderful tapas. I was unable to visit the wine museum, but it was reported to be a worthwhile experience if you were... More

Beautiful old museum - House of wine! It was very exciting to learn when and how the peolpe of the Canary Islands started to make wine! In one of the halls you can try some varieties of the best wine or even to buy a couple of bottles!

If all the wineries in France made you pay for every glass you tasted there would be another revolution! This was poor marketing and given the price of Canarian wines they should offer FREE tastings. The wines were not to our taste apart from one red which we bought, for 12 Euros! Just the 1 bottle though!

What a great view to enjoy the drinks in this beautiful terace. On a one side you see the ocean and the other side you see the Teide. Taste local wines and go and buy the ones you lake in the shop. The museum part was not that spectacular. It was quite small actually but the tickets were very very... More

This attraction is well signposted off the motorway. Don't just head for the Casa del Vino - try out the town and the panoramic views of the coast. The honey museum (next to the Wine museum) is not in English, but the wine museum is very interesting. Tenerife was the centre of the wine trade in the 16th century and... More

Honey was our reason for going and we found there to be 3 sections to the museum side, wine, honey and agriculture. They're all well done and many of the exhibits have multi-lingual descriptions, unfortunately not the honey section, interesting though and it does show some of the plants to look for when out in the countryside. More could be... More

If you are interested in how wine is made or the wine culture on Tenerife then this is for you. The wine museum is set up for English and Spanish speakers and gives a very good history of wine making in Tenerife. There is a short video you can watch which can be in a number of different languages including... More

Worth a Visit. It is possible to taste and buy wines of Tenerife. We spent about 2 hours looking around and tasting.

It was very quiet when we visited on Saturday. The wine museum was very interesting. The honey museum displays were all in Spanish but the pictures looked good. We didn't sample any wine or honey as there seemed to be no one around to assist us

The museums of wine and honey have no entry fee. Both musums are quite interesting - you get the whole picture of how they are producing wine and honey in Tenerife. Practically, it's the same as anywhere else, but you also get a better picture of where vineyards in Tenerife are and where and how much wine is produced. The... More
