We have been here before and returned again this past week. The gardens are an amazing engineering feat, dropping several levels. They are a true labor of love, comprising many different types of landscaping, ponds, plants and shrubs ... with the corresponding insect and wildlife, especially some very vividly colored dragonflies! The current owner, I think, is a Belgian lady,... More

This is a lovely little hidden gem. Took me and my husband 2 attempts to find it, as there aren't any signs pointing you in it's direction. By car we went up a hill through the gates to a restaurant called Taoro. It's located at the top. Parking was available. We were greeted by a lovely woman, who gave us... More

The Jardin Aquatico is located on a cliff and a perfect spot to have a good view of the coast line. When we entered the garden we were greeted by a very nice older lady who collected the money and had a little chat with us. The garden itself is quite beautiful with a lot of different plants and paths... More

The place could be ideal, on top de of the Taoro hill, in the middle of the park with great views, but it is not. There is an obvious lack of care for the place, things are old and the café is dirty, but what really put me off while we were there was those two beautiful dogs trapped in... More

3 euros entry is about par for what I expected. The highlight being a magnificent Ficus from Lord Howe Island in Australia in the centre of the park. I can see where Dali got his painting inspiration from. A nice well planned park worth an hour of your life to refresh the eyes and nostrils.

Having not heard about it, we were delighted to stumble across this garden and to meedt the lady whose late father built it in his spare time.

We were about to visit this attraction until we saw the unfortunate caged bird near the entrance. Its cage and seeds, water bowl were filthy. I went to see the owner but was told he was eating. They certainly lost our custom.

We visited these gardens which we found by accident whilst visiting the water gardens (Taoro) next door. We paid 4 euro's each to enter & whilst I would say it's worth a visit I do feel that the gardens looked in need of bit more love & care. They are situated on lots of different levels & you start &... More

Discovered this oasis of calm on our 4th visit to Puerto de la Cruz. It's alongside Jardin de Taoro but is privately owned and costs €4 entrance. The gardens are set on separate levels, each one has a different theme and water feature. Access quite steep in places but well worth the effort. We spent nearly 2hrs enjoying the beauty... More

Reached the garden after a walk through parque taoro, an entrance fee of 4 euro for the garden is a bit pricey, we were in and out in less than 30 mins
