Not much to see and do but as part of an overall day trip worth a look. There are no toilets and if you use the one in the cafe without buying anything you have to pay one euro

The trip to Masca is a must do if you are traveling to Teneriffe. The road is a bit narrow and steep, but once you get to the village you are rewarded with a breathtaking view over the valley. We have found an excellent restaurant where we have served lunch and cactus lemonade. The village is very small, quiet, with... More

I got there following the road from Icod, to Buenavista del Norte, and up, up, up until Masca. The road, I must say, was pretty heavy on the small car I drove there. Also I didn't see much because it was quite cloudy and foggy, but I'm sure some stunning views of the ocean waited outside the grey mist. When... More

You can't miss this while in Teneriff , the views are outstanding and you have to witness it yourself to understand how beautiful the scenery is. Don't miss this trip

Whatever you write about Masca Valley, it just does not do the justice... just go, go and see and tell me I am wrong... The only drawback - there is a specific micro climate which makes the weather quite moody in this place, so it could take several visits to find it in perfect weather conditions (well, it is still... A relative of mine said we should go to Masca, and so we did! It was a beautiful experience with the view, the clouds coming over the mountains, a view all the way down to the sea and a lovely tapas lunch at the nice and friendly restaurant! I can recommend this to everybody!

We got there at 5 pm in a hope of missing the crowds. There were a few tour busses still there but they left quite soon after we arrived making the village quiet and tranquil. The views are incredible. We came back later at about 8.30pm to go for a meal but absolutely everything was shut! It was then another... More

As was said before, the walk offers stunning views in beautiful surroundings. It took us around 3 hours with breaks for refreshment and taking photos. Good shoes are essential, you cant do it in flip-plops. Some practical info: taxi from Los Gigantes costs around 23-24 Euros. We took it on the street in front of the Stil Los Gigantes Hotel... More

This is a great walk if you are reasonably fit. We took a taxi to the top, walked down and then the boat back to Los Gigantes. It will take you about 3.5 hours and water, good shoes/boots are essential. Towards the end it does become more difficult and in places the actual best path isn't totally clear but you... More
