It pains me to think people would go to Tenerife on a package holiday and never leave the beach/pool/hotel and see this park. Hire a car or take a bus tour. Great scenery, especially on a sunny day. I cannot understand how people can go to Tenerife year after year and not to go this park or go up Mount Teide. You must go there, can see the amathing view. Easy to drive. Many view point to stop and take photos. I recomend to drive up there on sunny day with blue sky. Prepare the jacket and walking shoes. In the snow season, the loapway doesn't work. more

If you have the chance to go on the trip to Mount Teide at night then don't miss it. Champagne at sunset, an excellent 4 course meal with wine and stargazing with a qualified astronomer.
