Take the seaninc drive up to the cable cars just in the bottom of the Teide volcano. Absolutely must take is long pants, jacket, good tennis shoes (I wore puma speed cats), a small sandwich that you have prepared ahead of time, water, sun screen, a hat, your camera and most importantly, Good humor! The cost for an adult is... More

Did a comprehensive tour. stopped on the way to Teide. had lunch lunch then proceeded on to the Volcano. The heat when you get there is amazing and the view also. When you get up in the cable car the lack of air due to the altitude is apparent and this could cause a problem to anyone with breathing problems... More

We stopped in here while we were doing the Teide Trip I thought it was a lovely little pit stop and it was very busy - but quite pricey

A must go place in Tenerife!! The variety of changing view from sea side all the way up to the mountain top is amazing! And the huge climate difference from the north and south part of island is very interesting as well~ We enjoy our half day trip a lot! Please do take a warm coat and trousers with you... More

Took a Hire car for the drive from Playa Las Americas upto Mt Teide which is well worth it as you see so much more than you would stuck in a bus/coach. Some of the View points on route are just spectacular. The Cable car ride at 26 Euros is quite expensive but the views from the top are just... More

We went near the end of the day, there was a still a que of about 20 mins. The que wasn't all that obvious, you just sort of get put into a room with lots of seats and then work out its a que! Be handy if they told you that when you bought the tickets... we weren't sure if... More

We were happy of our choice to use cable car on the way up and go on foot back home. Thus we were not tired and still felt the atmosphere of volcano and viewed its landscapes for several hours.

We visited in april 2014. We booked oir tickets 2 months before our holiday and also booked our passes to go right to the summit. Unfortunately on the day we booked the weather was bad and the cable cars were not running. There were no notices put up telling people the place was closed so we sat waiting to enter... More
