Being cloud level on the way up was such an amazing experience. I felt like I was in a movie at some parts of the drive. The views from the cable car are spectacular.

Visit Tenerife, literally, rub shoulders with the clouds when you visit Tiede National Park, one of the most visited national parks in the world, and of course, the most visited in Spain! You will be standing on the highest point in Spain - 12,198ft, and also the highest Island on the Atlantic. You will visit an active volcano, plus, it... More

The drive to the national park and the Cable Car station is an event in itself, the Cable Car starts from around 2,500 metres up, so it's a long and winding road to get there from anywhere on the island. The cable car journey takes only 8 minutes, going up to just over 3,000 metres. At the upper Cable Car... More

We went on a coach tour from Los Cristianos, there were a few pick up points along the way but didn't take too long. We were soon driving up the winding roads, passing ever changing scenery, from palm trees to a forest of pine trees, then above the tree line into an almost lunar landscape, which was quite incredible, above... A very worthwhile trip the scenary is spectacular ! Unfortunately the cable car was not running due to strong winds, apparently this occurs a lot. But the views on the way up make it a truly amazing experience , actually being above the clouds was rather strange . Go to see the crater & the rock formations with the famous... More

I went there in october time, I didn't know it was that cold so I had flip flops, short and vest. NOT GOOD IDEA, as it was -5. But what counts is the view. Really its worth going there as you won't be regreting.

We drove to visit Tenerife's famous Teide mountain. One can literally see the mountain from most any angle in the north part of the island. We drove to see it from close one day. The drive was beautiful with lovely views, however when we got there, we wanted to go on the cable car and it was closed. It was... More

A trip to an exciting, unimaginable world. Consider that the visit takes a whole day because, for sure, you will stop many times along the way to admire and photograph the amazing views. You will pass through banana plantations, pine forests until you come to the deserts of the moon with clouds at your feet. Bring many layers of clothes... More

Well worth a visit. Be a bit more organised than us and wear trainers/walking boots and a jumper, despite it being hot by the beach, its cold up there and we had odd looks in our shorts and sandals!! There is a bit of a wait for the cable cars but the views are amazing

We did a whole day travelling to Volcano Teide and the national park, the views and areas were well worth the cost of the trip. Many stops to view, drink or even toilet. You also view the secret town that was hidden away for many years before they placed a very narrow road into it, all is a must to... More
