We went there last Friday and to be honest it looks to me that the park keepers haven't been there in months. it's a mess no flowers broken foot paths and weeds everywhere . the gardens in my hotel were far nicer and better kept.

The tour was an amazing experience for me. I had a fun time with my family and met a few nice people along the way. The tour was fill with memories I'll never forget and pictures that are worth taking. We learned a lot about the different plants, trees, and animals of Jardin Canario. We also went to a Wine... A bus from the centre will take you here. Only costs 1.65 euros. I can just say that it's beautiful here. So much to see. There are steep steps however that zig zag down the side of the mountain and they are a bit uneven and cobbled. It was not a problem for myself, but I did think that it... More

We took the bus there and walked down the hill paths. There are no handrails so with my small fear of hights made me look to my feet carefully when i was walking down. Down there was a big cacti arboretum. From down there did the buses go only on scooldays and with one member with a bad knee we... More

We had an amazing day at the Jardin Canario. Put on comfy shoes, there is much walking to do if you wish to see all of these wonderful plants. We started at the bottom, and then walked up the steep hillside. We had lunch in the beautiful restaurant at the top. The walk down was a little precarious for someone... More

We've made a couple of visits to these fantastic gardens, seven kilometres south-west of Las Palmas in the Tafira Alta district, and spent an enjoyable half day there each time wandering around its 27 acres of extensive paths. The garden was set up by Swede Erik Svensson in 1952 to bring together a collection of plants found on all of... More

Magnificent gardens set out on the side of a ravine. Fantastic selection of local plants and trees. Some of the gardens are on the level but there is some serious climbing if you want to be explore up the hillside.FREE of charge and there is a cafe which may or may not be open depending when you visit. I was... More

We enjoyed the walk around the Jardin Canario. It is a 20 minute bus ride out of town - no 303 from central bus station (1.40euros each way, every 30 mins), and is high up in the hills. You need to call in at the restaurant first for a drink which is at the top of the ravine - there... More

Hard to find even with a SAT Nav but well worth it Signposting is almost nonexistent. Amazingly it is free entrance. Takes about two hours to walk through the park which has various areas from trees to Cacti and other plants. Immaculately maintained and the plants are stunning.
