We walked along the boardwalk here. It's about a 2.5 mile walk. Even though it's the off season, it was good people watching. They have christmas decorations out and there are sand sculptures. Plenty to look at!

If you like live Blues, every Sat at 5pm look for Larger Guarida which is about half way along the prominade. There are surfers at the far end and loads of life along this 5km beach prom.

Excellent for jogging in the morning, sun bath during the day and walking in the evening. All is possible here. The sand is clean and the water clear. The beach is cleaned every morning. You have showers and many restaurant and bars in front of the beach. Great place to relax. Enjoy!

An interesting and beautiful beach in an urban setting. Beautiful sand sculptures. Nice promenade to walk along.

Lovely beach. Great restaurants nearby and interesting walks around the town. The bay is very sheltered near the beach but good for surfing further round the point.

This beached is up in the capital and is well worth a visit. The Canarians visit this beach through the week and makes a change from the man made beaches in the South.
