We stayed here for a week in a private apartment we booked through owners direct. Our apartment overlooked the beautiful stretch of beach. The sunsets are amazing here. The beach is very clean and the tide goes out a long way leaving lots of rocks pools etc to look for marine life. The promenade is very long and always clean.... More

Could not believe how clean the beach was - cleaned everyday - the public loos extremely clean and a life guard was on duty all day with frequent public announcements regarding the sea conditions. Very close to all bars & restaurants.

This Is one of the best beaches in the world. It is cleand every night, there are very clean washrooms for beach goers, and the options to rent lounges and umbrellas if you want. It is very long so it is great for walking or jogging. Thereis also surfing if you like that.

Long sandy beach, sun, good for running has some training facilities, clean and very good to just enjoy the sun. What else could you need from a beach? Love the way the palm trees where lighten at night.

Well worth a visit if in or around Las Palmas. Lovely long straight & flat promenade to walk along. Fantastic views. Numerous tappas bars & restaurants where you can sit and eat or just have a drink and watch the world go by. This is also surfers paradise where you can watch the surfers as they ride the waves. Easy... More

This beach is just like a postcard-picture with its old shouth-europe-style buildings and tuqoise ocean! Quite windy place in march, winds of springtime are NOT warm. Ocean was warm enough to swim. Tens of good restaurants everywhere along the beach-road.

A normal beach nothing special to write home about. Today it seems to be occupied by the down and outs of Las Palmas, We have visited it on other days and it is OK but today it was the hang out of the downouts! I think that there are better beaches on the island.

It's a long beach, about 4km and it varies greatly from one end to the other. From the promenade you can rarely see the length of the beach as it twists and turns. The end where the Reina Isabel is, approaching Isleta is the best end, the other extreme of the beach was looking VERY tatty in February.
